We camped here for four nights last week and were very impressed with this park. Its very clean and even though it was packed over the weekend, we were surprised how quiet it was. The sites are nice sized but they are sand and dirt so make sure to bring a mat to put down. They have nice fire rings... More

Nice park but you need to use the bridge to cross M25 to get to the water. Outside that there is nothing wrong with the park. The staff is great

As part of a day trip to the Caseville/Port Austin area, we spent a couple hours at the beautiful beach last week. Very clean beach with nice warm water for swimming. Bathroom/changing facilities were adequate.

I am used to the beaches on the Lake Michigan side...huge masses of sand. This is a thin strip, framed by the ugly concrete structure. If you are staying at the park, use the beach cause you will have already paid. You can walk in for free but need to pay to park. If not, go north to Thompson Beach... More

When: June 8th thru June 12 (2015) Where: Sleeper State Park Campground, Site #84 What: 32' Motorhome We probably won't return to Sleeper State Park. Despite the great location near the lake, the campground is quite underwhelming. It's a nicely wooded lot and the sites have electric (50/30/20), a picnic table, and a 48” fire pit – but water and... Had a great time as usual camping at Sleeper State Park in Caseville over Memorial Day. The park fills up but has spacous sites making it feel very comfortable. Up to date clean facilities and even some limited wifi near the park office. Great Beach and nice hiking trails available and a fun 4.5 mile bike ride to the resort... More

We camped here for a long week-end and had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach was across from the park.

We stayed here around the middle of july and we had a great time. This park is super clean and the staff was great and friendly. They even offered to help me back in my trailer to my campsite. What we really loved was that you could go to the campground host site and borrow board games lasso golf or... More

We like this state park as a beach destination. It's deeper water than at the Caseville beach, which can be more fun. But, there are many rocks under the water. So, it can make tricky conditions wading. Decent bathroom facilities. Picnic and grill areas.

My family stayed at Sleeper State Park for 4th of July weekend. Upon checking in, the staff was helpful but not very friendly. It had rained the morning of our arrival and much of our site was underwater. By the end of our 3 night stay the water was almost gone. There are two bath houses; one relatively new one... More
