I went to Caberfae once last season and had a nice experience. A couple weekends ago(the last weekend kids were off for xmas break), we visited for the 1st time this year. That Saturday was absolutely packed... easily the busiest day I've ever seen at a Ski resort and as I understand it, the busiest day of the season. Making... More

My son took snowboard lessons for several days. All of the instructors and staff were very friendly, patient, and accomodating. A special thank you to Dylan and Dean. Prices were very reasonable. Beautiful area -- LOVED the blue spruce trees and snow! Drove in from Cadillac each day -- a nice drive -- about 20 minutes. Hope to come back... More

This was only a few miles from Coyote Crossing, where we stayed, and the prices and slopes were very good. Enjoyed the skiing and snowboarding.

We always enjoy skiing Caberfae Peaks! The runs are great and the beer is cold. If you stay nearby, you can almost always get discount lift tickets.

caberfae is a no frills family oriented ski resort. I have been to boyne as a comparison. While boyne is probably a bit more polished, thats meaningless to me. The views at cabby over the huron national forest are breathtaking. The value at caberfae is unmatched. A SEASON pass for 99 bucks. Are you SERIOUS? ??? About the only negative... More

Caberfae Peaks of Cadillac is one of the best small ski resorts of northern Michigan. It is perfect for the intermediate skier looking for a fun day on the slopes with family and friends. Also a great price for first time skiers looking at lift tickets at 30 dollars a day. if you are looking for a larger resort with... More

We have skied here for 12 years but this was our first visit in the summer and will not be our last. the golf course was well maintained. The greens ran true and would hold your approach shots. Each day our play was slowed by a group in front of us, that is a group of deer meandering across the... More

Yes, the price is right but it may not be worth it for some people. The restaurant isn't always open during the summer. To get something to eat you may have to drive all the way to Cadillac. It is an older resort, the rooms are dated, the design is dated, and no in room refrigerators. I'm not even sure if... More

dbrider: Thank you for staying with us. Yes, we do have limited dining options during the summer months. However, we do have two different vending machines in our lobby for snacks and drinks. I am sorry you missed them. I am glad you enjoyed the scenery and we look forward to having you back in the winter. More

Thought we would save money by booking one night at this resort, but it did not meet our standards. Although, it looks as some updates are being made to the resort area it was still old and run down. We were fine until we got to our room on the second floor, dark hallways, empty twelve pack beer container at... More

This is probably my favorite ski resort in Michigan. Not because it's the biggest or the best, but because they have fantastic runs and incredible prices and specials. You can find deals for $15 often. Even their full priced tickets are worth it. They have some serious vertical, plenty of runs to keep you interested. They're located far enough north... More
