Great for family to golf

Some of my favorite memories were made at this course. My whole family would go out on a weekday afternoon. They treated the kids well and insured us a great time.

Great golf course, good food, but pricey. The help's attitude is snooty, so if you are snooty too, this is the perfect place for you, you will fit right in.

Now named Evergreen Resort. Comfortable rooms, but thin walls. Nice beds with 4 pillows per bed. Old model TVs that should be replaced, but you stay here to be outside golfing, boating or skiing. Golf course in great shape. Casual cafe was good.

This was our second year for a couples golf weekend there. We found it just average this time. The course was not in the greatest shape. Larger rocks in the sand traps. The lady at the halfway house was kind of loud, and not altogether there. G-string hanging out of here shorts. My husband smokes, so we asked for a... More

McGuires has changed owners and become Evergreen Resort. There are continual improvements in the past two years and this has led us to play the course more. Greens and fairways are in good condition and Kevin, the golf pro, is always welcoming. He helped us arrange a recent outing for 24 friends and made sure the experience was good! It... More

Purchased a Group Golfer with 36 holes and an overnight stay. Had great weather and the staff at the resort are great. Very nice room, golf course is in great shape with the greens being a bit fast. Dinner at the Terrace was very good and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was also included and had many fresh choices to... More

The parking lot was full of snowmobiles and trailers--looks like this is the place to stay and play if you're into that. We stayed for a night, and while we didn't play on the trails on the golf course, I wish we could have. Our room was simple, decent bed, clean and fairly quiet. Nothing special room-wise. No complaints. We... More

Good luck to a resort trying to bring interest and tourism to Cadillac. This is not New York, London or Paris so we need to keep our reviews in perspective. We spent four days there for a wedding. The place is a bit tired and could do with a face lift. There is new management so things may improve. We... More

We stayed at McGuire's Resort in Cadillac on our way to Traverse City. The room was very clean & quiet. They allow dogs in The Cedars section. Although these rooms have only 2 double beds. We managed to get by. The pool, Sauna, & hot tub were excellent! The Grandkids loved the deep pool! Beautiful golf course surrounding the Resort.... More
