Grew up going to the dunes and it is always a blast when we get to visit again as an adult. The beaches are always clean and the water is so much better than in Chicago. Climb the big dune, run down and get in the water to cool off. Don't forget the sunscreen!

One of the few parks you can take your dog to for some refreshing water play ... sand bar fun and many waves too... i love the seclusion and the cleanliness of the park itself ... the view is breath taking and the fun is endless

Unfortunately, we were unable to camp here since everything was taken and had to pay $9 per car. Fortunately, we found a spot off the road to grill. Hanging out at the beach was totally worth the drive. We waited to see the sunset, and it was a beautiful moment! The scenery is beautiful and thank god there are bathrooms!... More

One and a half hours from Chicago (traffic permitting) and you're transported into another world. Nothing like this exists on the Illinois (and Wisconsin) side of Lake Michigan. When you first drive in, the sight of the dunes blows you away..... I give Warren Dunes a 5 for a day trip. Can't speak for the campground as it's been years... More

The Michigan coastline is beautiful! The beach sand is so soft! The dunes are nice to climb up and run down. This would be a nice place to spend the day!

I have been camping here for years almost every summer. I received moved and made a cross country drive. I was sure to camp a night here before I left Michigan. The grounds for tent camping are clean with several sites that provide good privacy; and all sites are a little different. The beach, though, is why you come to... More

One of the most poorly maintained State Parks in the state, if not the worst. Disgusting bathrooms, sand built up in all the dressing rooms (which are open to the elements), dirty rinsing stations. It looks like it's been abandoned for years. The views are nice and the dunes are huge, but nothing to experience again!

Very neat park if you've never seen sand dunes! Lots of places to hike the sand dunes! My 2yr old and 5yr old had no trouble hiking the dunes. The beach is pretty nice. The bathrooms weren't very clean and the other hiking trails weren't labeled well. The maps for the hiking trails were very confusing. $9.00 to enter the... More
