We just stopped by for a look at Lake Michigan, being my first time here. It was very cold, cloudy and windy today when we stopped and there was no one at the park. I am sure in the Summer, this place is packed. The beach area is very pretty. We passed lots of picnic tables on our drive in... More

My boyfriend and I took a week long camping vacation in late July of 2014. We decided to start our four park adventure at the beautiful Warren Dunes because of all the great reviews about the amazing beaches and massive hiking dunes. We weren't disappointed. The beach was exquisite and the dunes were very cool. As for the camping experience....we... More

We lived in Chicago and would come here at least 10 times a year. Even in the fall and winter it is a nice place to visit. We would make an apple run in the fall when the apples are in season. Local orchards are close, then we would stop at the park and do some hiking. In the summer... More

Great place to get away. LOVE the dog beach. We came in the summer as well but it's gorgeous in late winter/early spring. The snow and ice on the lake is beautiful

This state park has a little bit of everything and appeals to young and old alike! It's tucked away on the shores of Lake Michigan just sixteen miles from the Michigan State line. It's popularity has only grown over the years and because of that the facilities have improved immensely! The park offers hiking, beach combing and in the summer... More

Warren Dunes is a must see State Park. Climbing the dune nearly 300 feet is a bit of a workout but well worth the effort. You can even see the tops of some skyscrapers in Chicago when the weather and humidity is just right.

We visited Warren Dunes a few times this past year -- both for the day and to camp. Either are totally worth it! Pretty much, I was looking for somewhere about a 2 hour drive (2.5 hours MAX) from Ann Arbor to go hiking and hopefully to a beach for the day and I found Warren Dunes. I did not... More

If you haven't been to this place, you need to go! The dunes are fun to climb and not too difficult, worth the view once you get to the top. They have nice facilities and it's great for everyone...pets included!

A great place to explore whether it be along Lake Michigan, climbing Tower Hill, a large sand dune, or hiking some of the trails. You get a great view at the top of the sand dune as well as a great cardio workout! Summer time offers camping as well. Definitely worth a repeat trip!

We camped in the park and spent half a day over at the dunes/beach. Climbing the dunes kept my kids occupied. We all made it to the top and just enjoyed the view. We were able to take the dogs to beach so they could swim. We're definitely planning a trip back in the summer.
