very nice place with lots of fun for the whole family. The tube rides were exciting and the lifeguards were top notch.
Whether you have kids or not and you plan to stay a few days, its worth checking out. After skiing for a day, I would suggest playing in the water for a while before hitting the hot tub.
The waterpark is great fun after a day of skiing! All the slides are fun….hurt my elbow and hip on the pink slide but all others were great! Locker rooms and staff need attention. All in all it was terrific!
My husband and 7 year old daughter stayed here last weekend. While our room at the Grand Mountain Lodge was great (clean, large, comfy) our water park experience this time (our 2nd visit) was less than perfect. We arrived on a Sunday (around 11) and weren't able to check in to our room until 4:00 (standard check-in time is 5:00)... More
Boyne only had day skiing during the week, (sun-tues) so my boyfriend and I decided to check out the water park. We are in our mid twenties and had a great time. The slides are a ton of fun and even thrilling, and the pool where you can play basketball or go in the lazy river is a nice time.

We have visited several times, but most recently we spent the evening here after skiing in the afternoon. It was the perfect end to a good day. Our boys (8 and 6) are just about the right age for all the rides. They don't get bored, but we don't have to worry about them either. If you don't have a... More
Great for adults and children. A good range of slides to suit any age and ability of swimming. Our children aged 7 and 10 loved it and spent a good 2 hours in there.
We visited Avalanche during a stay at our timeshare. We were offered three free tickets, then had to pay for a forth to complete our party. I felt that $35 was a bit much for what the park had to offer. You get the basics, but I felt that the place was pretty small. However, the kids had an awesome... More
I am not usually a fan of waterparks (germs, crowdedness, etc). but this one is wonderful. they have it layed out very nice so it does not seem crowded. Tons of lifeguards around. we had a 10 and 12 year old and we went to the adjacent restaurant (Apres Ski Pub) while the kids had fun and just checked on... More
