Fun for all

We had run of the place when we were here the Sunday before Halloween. Kids had a blast! The Big Coulier was fun for the wife and I.

We had ages 3 yrs old to 50 and it was fun for all of us. Temps inside were perfect. There is a small place to grab a quick bite to eat so you don't have to leave and come back. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My kids preferred Kalahari to Avalanche Bay. It is a small indoor waterpark and for older kids (11+) they will get bored quickly after 1 day.

We have been coming here for several years now over this weekend. Although it can be crowded with lots of little tikes, my teenagers always have fun. It occupies them for s good few hours so I can get some things done!

I'm probably spoiled by the waterparks in the Wisconsin Dells, but I thought Avalanche Bay was terrible and my kids agreed. It's very small, so don't be fooled by thier claim that it's the largest waterpark in Michigan--that's very hard to believe. We stayed at the Inn at Bay Harbor, so we were able to get in-house rates, but it... More

Waterpark is nice, not as big as we thought. Upon arriving we saw discounted price for houseguests. We ordered our tickets online. Cashier was nice enough to give us discounted price saving us $20. I wish there was room enough for lounge chairs. Room enough for sit up metal chairs.

Took my 5 children here for spring break! I must say they have awesome choices for kids of all ages! The water slides are great, and the fact that they have slides for kids of ALL ages is fantastic! My 12 year olds, 9 year old, 6 year and my 2 year old we're all able to ride slides! The... More

Avalanche Bay was a great add to Boyne Mountain. It's a nice break for kids from skiing; and gives you almost that "beach" atmosphere at a ski resort! I have to say that as far as pure water parks go, my kids prefer Great Wolf Lodge slightly over Avalanche Bay, but if you are in the Boyne area and looking... More

We took our 5 and 7 year-olds to Avalanche Bay when it was too cold to ski last week. They both love to swim, and we went to Blizzard Beach at Disney last year, so they have experienced the water park thing before. Unfortunately, they were not big fans of constantly being splashed in the face, and it took a... More

The waterpark had a nice variety of slides. The slide where the bottom door drops out was closed during our visit and my nephew was injured on it before it was closed, beware. However, the locker room was very dirty and there were several people wearing their winter boots in the waterpark. I felt this caused the floors to feel... More
