My wife and I are beginners in skiing really first timers. We did not know what to expect the moment the chair dropped us at the top. We steuggled alot. however, thanks to some helpful people around and the great ski patrol service, i am alive and posting this message :). It was a great place. I just wish there... More

I have skied in Northern Michigan for several years and have always shied away from Boyne Mountain until the last couple of years. Boy was I mistaken. They have really taken their operation to a new level. The snow making and grooming is truly state of the art. The runs are long but Midwest standards and really a pleasure to... More

If you are a beginer its great. They even have a free section for beginners that has a conver belt lift and not the nasty tow rope. The mountain was littered with beer cans, vodka bottles, and all other kind of alcohol glass bottles. The trash on the mountain was very bad. I have never been to a ski place... More

Our family went skiing at Boyne Mountain for three days during Spring Break. The great thing about Boyne Mountain is the wide range of slopes for skiers of all abilities. Our family was new to skiing so the first day we stayed in the free lift ticket area which includes the magic carpet for the bunny hill and one chair... More

We have always enjoyed Boyne Mountain for all it has to offer, and always go for a 4 day trip at least once a year. Best value and amenities of all the ski locations in Michigan.

A little pricey for Michigan, but lots of well-maintained runs. Ski school was worth it. Not too crowded.

I kept having flashbacks of a time we visited with some dear friends and their children. That's what Boyne Mountain does--creates great family times. The snow has been plentiful in Michigan this year, so skiing is great! Some of the runs are so long, I have to stop halfway down to rest. This visit was disappointing, though, as many of... More

We took our boys skiing for the first time this weekend and they had a blast. We stayed in Gaylord and saved about $500 driving to Boyne instead of staying on site. We rented skis for four hours and just stayed on the free bunny hill. For a first time, the four hours on this hill was perfect. Magic carpet... More

Slopes are short compared to skiing out west but overall there was a good variety of options and we skied for a whole day and only repeated a couple of slopes. At times the lift lines were long but most of the time the lines were very short.

I've been to Boyne Mountain Resort numerous times over the years with friends and family for week-long stays using their ski/lodging packages. In the past these stays were fantastic and I highly recommended this location. Unfortunately things have changed and what should have been a great vacation turned into a poor one. The hills had great snow and the runs... More
