We rented the Segway's at Boyne Mtn. and although (mom) i was very hesitant on whether i could balance on this, within mins your going and it was great. The guide explained everything clearly and it is well worth the money. Will do Segway's wherever we go now.

I have come to Boyne Mt on many occasions to ski in the winter, zip line in the summer, mt bike on trails, and have great accommodations in the lodge. My daughters go to the water park and my wife and I relax at the spa and pool. The pool area was very unkept while we were there, that is... More

I always enjoy visiting Boyne Mountain, but, the restaurants are a bit expensive. Also, there is no inside pool, so, if the weather is bad, there isn't a whole lot to do there. Avalance Bay is a lot of fun and they also have a game area. It, too, is a bit expensive and you have to pay for the... More

By Michigan standards this is a very good ski resort. There are plenty of runs and lifts. Boyne Mountain offers skiers 60 trails serviced by 10 chairlifts and a magic carpet conveyor lift. The vertical drop is only 500 feet (152 meters); therefore, all your ski runs are short. For northern Michigan a vertical of 500 feet is considered average.... More

Big ski area with lots of lifts and runs. Probably good midwest skiing during the season, but when I went, it was slush city and not much fun. Slopes badly needed grooming after about 2 hours, not many lifts were open. My 12 year old got a little lost and instead of helping him find his way, one of the... More

While we tend to ski out west, our friends asked us to join in on a trip to Boyne this March. Being that this is the midwest we were very cautious with our expectations and Boyne over exceeded anything we could have hoped for in Michigan. The resort does a great job with the trails all of which were open... More

Plenty of black runs. The greens are mostly grouped together all on one side of the mountain. It's a great place to ski with buddies as it has great bars. The Eagles Nest on the mountain is a must for a mid-day drink and warm up. The fireplace is sweet and the view can't be beat. Maybe not the place... More

we have been to Boyne Mountain several times, and have always had a great time! Whether zip lining or skiing we have great service in a great atmosphere! I'm not sure there is any more that I can say; if you are doing ski trips in Michigan, then Boyne Mountain has to be one of your stops!
