Recently went to Boyne Mountain with family. 2 boys had a blast in an all day ski school, with midweek being not crowded, they virtually had private lessons. The first 2 days, the weather cooperates and a fresh layer of snow was provided, unfortunately, by Saturday the thaw began and the crowds arrived. Skiing was becoming sloppy. We enjoy the... More

My day ended before it began. I left my 6-year old Rossi Phantom on the rack outside the Civic Center at 10:00AM, and came outside after dressing 15 minutes later to find them G.O.N.E....GONE! NO...there isn't any camera in the area. The staff was very helpful, but not very hopeful. I filed a report with security and the Charlevoix county... More

We stayed over New Years weekend and while not all runs were open yet due to the weather, we did enjoy our trip. It was our first trip, driving from out of state. We particularly liked the quaint village and the parking lot shuttles. The 'greeters' were very friendly. The lift operators didn't seem to be familiar with the trails... More

They have very reasonable ski lessons, skiing, sledding park, ice skating and many shops and restaurants within walking distance. And several places to rent right on property. What a great way to spend the weekend. The kids loved it and us too.

My wife and I visited Boyne over the MLK Monday and Tuesday (overnighting in Gaylord, MI). We are middle aged, novice skiers and we were both extremely impressed with the customer service the Boyne staff provided. This was especially outstanding in the rental experience. Very patient, knowledgeable, and friendly while focusing on getting us in the appropriate and comfortable equipment.... More

We totally enjoyed our skiing and snowboarding at Boyne Mountain. Wonderful conditions, every lift was open and every trail/hill was open at one point (grooming would cause intermittent closures.) All staff members were friendly and helpful. We will totally be back!

I had a most satisfying two-day stay at Boyne Mountain, a very well run establishment with courteous staff, great accommodations, dining and ski instruction, lifts and trails. For the dead flat Midwest, this is one of the exceptional places transformed into ski terrain. I would encourage any Midwesterners to head on up and enjoy this place. It should not be... More

We enjoyed our time at Boyne Mountain so much! We took our family to enjoy a day of skiing there for New Year's. There are great hills to ski from beginner level to more advanced. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lodge food available too. We can't wait to go back some day!

Family trip over the holidays after the first snow of the season. We had a great time because there were 20+ family members of varying ages from 4yrs old - 51 yrs old and we just wanted to have a good time. The problem was there were only very few trails open so it was very crowded. Food was expensive... More

Not to many places in Michigan that have good skiing. Boyne has plenty of options for the kids all the way to the advanced skier. Good places to stay especially if you stay slope side. Restaurants aren't too bad but are a little on the pricey side for what you get
