Twenty years ago I took my daughter to this little zoo and wasn't vary impressed. But let me tell you it has definitely improved in the last twenty years. Me my wife and our two grandchildren had a great time. If they would have had paved trails I would have given them 5 stars.

My husband and I like to visit zoos wherever we travel. This zoo was very disappointing. We paid $11 each, which is a good price, then we're told to go in and walk the trails. We were not given a map. We saw no employees on the grounds. The cages/fences were basically falling apart. There was about 85% of the... More

This is a very nice, small zoo found right outside Frankenmuth and Birch Run. It was great for the toddlers because they can walk easily to all exhibits (and without exhausting us tired parents), yet there was quite an excellent varieties of animals. There are lots of feeding sections (though mostly at the goats) and we also got to pet... More

This zoo is in very poor condition. I've been to multiple zoos and none like this. The enclosures are extremely small, no water in several cages. Reptiles had no water! Very dirty, and I would not recommend visiting here. It's a good idea with the trail but the animals look very sad, nothing for them to do whatsoever, animals that... More

This is a wonderful little Zoo that lets you get up close (and sometimes personal by feeding!) with many different types of animals. It's a nice walk thru a very well kept up trail. It was definitely worth the money and a place that can be enjoyed by young and old alike. It only takes an hour or so to... More

This is a nice little zoo that is very peaceful. Some of the enclosures are a little small but the animals do not seem stressed. It's a nice little inexpensive stop on the way to Frankenmuth.

I loved this place! Quiet, calm break from the busyness of everything. Zoo is set in a nice wooded area, and has some unusual animals-plus you are up close to each specie: more so than at a conventional zoo setting. Lots of walking-or strolling- it is bigger than it appears!

We decided to check out this zoo on our recent trip to Birch Run/Frankenmuth. Our whole family really enjoyed it! It was a great little day trip and the admission price was very reasonable. I definitely recommend checking this out if you are travelling as a family with young children

This place may seem on the surface as a dive but you will never get closer to wild animals at any zoo. We were so impressed be the number of zoo animals and how close you can get. The other thing impressed us was the fact the animals were awake, walking around, just wonderful to see. Even the laity lions... More

I really was excited to be coming to the zoo. Overall, my experience was nice, but the next time we go, it will be after feeding time so the animals can have time to eat and sleep it off. We went around 11:30-12pm, and most of the animals were sleeping or eating. The only problem was that the sign had... More
