Books for the boys

We enjoy visiting the library, searching for each boo. Staff is always helpful. They even play with the puppet theater and in the boat.

Wirt Library is spacious and beautiful. The librarians are helpful. The library offers a range of services - children's programming, computer seminars for seniors, research assistance and a great selection of books.

This library was built with everybody in mind. There are areas for children, videos, meetings, snacks, and lots of seating and the librarians are very polite and knowledgeable. Reference help, atmosphere is relaxing. Located on Center Avenue in Bay City, Michigan, very close to the downtown area.

This Bay City public library is one of the best I have visited. There are special themes set out with books, which change with the season or current events. Wifi, computer usage, online books & services make this library a stand out.

Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library is a beautiful, modern facility. If you're a visiting family, there's a huge children's area complete with a large boat to play in as well as toys, puzzles, and puppets. It has a beautiful reading garden just off the children's area for sharing books together. A separate teen area will interest older children. Fiction... More

My wife and I went to this library to use their computers. The people were very friendly and helpful, even though we were from out of state. They even offered to extend the time, if my wife was not done with her school assignment. We would go again, if we were ever in the area.

This library has it all. Beautiful views, sitting areas, historic collections, videos, etc. Everything anyone would want in a main library. It makes you proud to take friends to this library. Way to go Bay County and thank you Jack and Alice Wirt.
