OMG this zoo was terrific. very user friendly and child friendly. It was a bit pricey for a zoo but then i have no idea what a zoo cost? I live close to the nations capital and ours is free. Highly recommend it. Will go again next year for sure.

We try to come to this zoo every year. We love the natural setting. Most of the zoo is in the woods. The wild Africa part does have an open plain and it is nice to see the animals have room to run -- and fun, this year, to see the new baby giraffes. We love it that this zoo... More

The zoo was nice and offered many opportunities for interacting with the animals. My daughter loved feeding the goats, llama, and giraffes. There is a lot of walking, so wear sturdy shoes and bring a stroller if you have young kids or even older kids that will get tired. The food is pricey. We spent about the same on food... More

I loved this zoo... we have been to several zoos throughout the midwest and this is definitely one of my faves! Not just because we got to feed and cuddle with the giraffes ( not gonna lie, that was cool) but because it was just a nice long walk through a well kept park that not only focused on the... More

This was my first time going to Binder Park zoo. I took my 3 nephews, from 2 to 8 years old. They all loved it!! My oldest one said he wanted to sleep overnight in the zoo. This is because it's in such a natural setting. The Mexican wolves are practically in a forest setting, and many others on the African... More

This smaller community and business sponsored zoo has always been a delight for what it does, not for what it is. Unlike the major market entertainment zoos, the exhibits and species are limited. No lions (yet), no tigers, and newly arrived bears (rescued from Alaska) so don't expect to be wowed by numbers. What is important is the dedication of... More

We have visited several zoo in the US as we have moved around a lot. I have to say the Binder Park Zoo is right up there with the best of them. Why I like this zoo: 1) all of the exhibits are close together so you spend your time seeing the animals, not walking between the exhibits. Bonus if... More

I visited here with my family on a Saturday morning. We came primarily for the African zone and the giraffe feeding. I've been to lots of zoos and was still impressed by their presentation and feeling of being a part of the exhibit. My kids (ages 12 & 14) were not entirely on board with coming to the zoo as...
