The best part about this zoo is the african safari. I love that they have the train like thing that takes you from america to africa. You can walk too and is the best option if your a smoker.

Family fun for all. Travel to Wild Africa or watch the snow leopards play. Ride the train or the carousel. Binder Park has something for the entire family.

Binder Park Zoo is a little treasure in Battle Creek MI! We have had a family membership since we first moved to town in 1998. Very doable in one day. Animals are in nice and roomie enclosures so you don't feel like they are suffering or on display but rather in a habitat they enjoy. The addition of the Africa... More

Binder Park Zoo has lots going for it. It is small but they have made a great effort to make things interesting and educational. The front section has smaller animals, birds and reptiles. They have bear cubs, wolves and even prairie dogs. They also have a carousel for kids to ride and a petting zoo with a llama or two.... More

For a town the size of Battle Creek, Binder Park Zoo is an amazing pkace to visit. We are so lucky to have this jewel in our town! We took our grandson for his first visit & he loved it - the Wild Africa exhibit was fun from the second we boarded the tram. Visiting can be a little pricey... More

This zoo is a must visit as central location right off I94 and short distance form I69, easy to find. Staff is well educated and the animals always seen to be happy and outside playing. Lots of parking, store, and a great restaurant on site. They have several events, like 5k runs though the zoo, the famous Boo Zoo and... More

The Zoo Boo supports greatly, the conservation of Binder Park Zoo. Yes, the past weekend has had many big queues for entry, but it's worth it. You do have to pay in even if you are a member ($5.50 for members and a dollar extra for non-members but think of supporting by help paying for the feeding of the animals... More
