Quaint museum

This museum is a fun way to spend a few hours- if you include the planetarium. It is an older museum, but my boys 8 and 12 enjoyed it.

I've been to several world-class museums, and this just isn't one of those, but if you're looking for an entertaining way to spend an hour or so, this is a decent way to do it. The staff is friendly, the space is easy to navigate and the information is presented in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand.... More

I grew up in this area so school trips were always happening to this museum. I love the planetarium shows, the large woolly mammoth, and all the other exhibits. It is located inside the Leila Arboretum which also has awesome grounds to explore. It is a great place for all ages.

Lovely way to spend an hour or so. Staff are really friendly. Some really interesting things to see. And some really odd exhibits (barbed wire through time )

A so, so attraction. We enjoyed the Kellogg Discovery Center much more!! It had an average planetarium show, a craft for the kids & the staff was friendly. It took us about 90 minutes to see the show & tour the museum. It could have taken us less time but we were going at a very leisurely pace. If your... More

We liked the museum building an d the e exhibits. When we visited, there was a scavenger hunt type activity for kid. That was interesting. We visited because we live nearby and it participate s in the ASC Reciprocity Agreement. It was reasonable.

It's geared for kids, but my husband and I really enjoyed it. It's in an historic building, three floors and has an elevator. If you're a reader of information, allow at least 90 minutes. The planetarium is a deal! The museum is located at the Leila Arberatum, a beautiful circle drive, picnic areas, frisbee golf, and paved nature trail. A... More
