Hallets makes a big show of being just like an old-timey general store, but it's a racket, I assure you. When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the insane amount of signage warning about "No Bathrooms" so... don't even think about it. We wanted ice cream, and apparently it's all homemade, but they don't give tastes so... More

Amazing home made ice cream to inexpensive sandwiches such as the best grilled cheese and chicken salad along with home made meatballs. Stop here and get some food for the beach!

looks are so deceiving with this one!! what looks like a quaint antique ice creamery is just a gross tourist trap rip off!! I'm still trying to figure out how I paid ALMOST $7 for an "ok" big glop of ice cream on a tiny sugar cone - this was their 2 scooper!! and when I had asked for a... More

We were greeted with a friendly greeting by the owner, our sandwiches came out fast. My husband said it was the best chocolate malt he has ever had. It is a cute historical small shop! We are so happy we stopped!

Local ice cream and sandwich shop. Best ice cream I had in a long time. You could tell it was made in the morning and it was extremely fresh. It also has the old fashion charm of the apothecary shops.

The building was historic, but a little cluttered and on the creepy side. There is supposed to be a museum upstairs, but we were told it was not open. We ordered ice cream. When I was served my cone, the server's finger was actually touching my ice cream. I went ahead and tasted it, but it did not taste good... More

Very old fashioned... Service could have been better, but it's summer on the Cape. Very busy!! Atmosphere is different. And it costs a little more but worth a visit at lesst once a summer!

You never know when they will be open. The service is terrible. It's expensive. There's a bunch of knick-knacks that are hardly worth looking at. Do yourself a favor and don't bother. If it's ice cream that you want, go to Smugglers in Dennis on 6A.

After walking in and not even being greeted, the 3 people behind the counter couldn't even be bothered to make eye contact with us, and we were the only customers in the parlor. We asked to taste the purple cow yogurt and were refused because the man behind counter said he "had nothing to prove". Customer service is obviously not... More
