We drove here from RI and it was well worth our time. My 2 year old and my 6 year old loved this place. It was a beautiful day - so we got to also enjoy the many outside exhibits available, like the bubbles and the playground. The grounds are beautiful just to walk through, And the train ride was... more

Today I took my 2, 4, and 8 year old kids to Worcester's Ecotarium! It was an Earth Day celebration so the place was packed but admission was half off. Generally, having three kids of a wide variety of ages, I check my expectations at the door. I NEVER take them anywhere that's going to cost over $25 because the... more

Twice in four months my family has driven an hour to Worcester to visit the Ecotarium. It is such an unusual place because it combines so many different things into one location. For space buffs, there is the digital planetarium. Want to learn about New England ecosystems? Check out the indoor freshwater ecosystem and the outdoor trails. Like animals? You... more

This past Sunday the 11th of Jan myself and my best friend took her 2 1/2 year old over to the Ecotarium for his 1st visit. It was a very snowy day and we got there right at 12pm when it opened to it was very slow and we were one of a dozen or so families there. My best... more

We took our twin 2-yr-olds here the other week because they wanted to go on a train for the first time. We weren't up for going on the actual train to boston, so we found a kids place with a kids train. The ecotarium is in Worcester, but right on the Shrewsbury line (so not really in the city). It... more

The Ecotarium has always proven to be a must see destination in Central Massachusetts. The exhibits are educational, but also are fun an interactive. The variety of native and exotic wildlife was my kid's favorite part. Kenda the Polar Bear is certainly the star! All of the staff we encountered were warm and helpful, and the natural setting set this... more

We were looking for a place to take our 3 children aged 4-13. A friend had mentioned a museum geared to children in Worcester, MA. Searched the web and found the website for Ecotarium. It looked interesting. It cost $44.00 for us to enter and park. As we walked in toward the main building we didn't get a good feeling.... more

This place was a great find. It's all about kids there. We took our 13 month old and although he's still quite young, he enjoyed seeing some live animals as well as behind glass "stuffed" animals in their habitats. We enjoyed the storytime in the small theater with a very sweet staff member who was kind to include all guests... more
