This was our first visit to EcoTarium and we were very pleased. It would be even better in the spring or summer, as some of the attractions (like a treetop walk) were closed in the autumn, but we were still able to play in the outdoor playground, visit the animals housed outdoors, and even take a little bit of a... This museum/interactive area has been wonderful for the kiddos! They have had a blast and it keeps us busy. So worth the family season pass

Hadn't been here for a number of years and sadly must say it was not what I remembered it to be. Exhibits were a disappointment, when the bee exhibit was the highlite you can see what I mean? The movie was good, the walk around trail uninspiring and no train. Would not recommend spending your money here.

Have never been to the EcoTarium before and was actually looking forward to the experience since I was attending a birthday party there. It's conveniently located and had ample parking. I have to say though, I was not impressed with the birthday part of the visit at all and don't recommend it. The lobby area was interesting for the kids,... More

Its a combo of science museum, natural history museum, mini zoo and park. All in a compact area about 75% action indoors and 25% outdoors. Very good for a place where most of the days are either snowing or rainy or cold! It has a section where kids can experiment n learn how hurricanes, blizzards, waves, mountains, rives etc are... The EcoTarium had a nice range of science/nature exploration for children - bubbles, tornado machine, dinosaur bones, music station and some live animals too. Get there early or make advanced reservations for the zip line. It sells out quickly!

This is a very nice museum for young kids up to 9. They have a planetarium to see for an extra $5.00 and a train ride which is also an extra but was down for the rest of the season. They have some nice exhibits to see and things for the kids to do outside.

The Ecotarium has an amazing variety of activities for children, and offers a wide range of natural science information for adults as well. A family can spend several hours here walking the woodsy trails to see rescued owls, a fox, a snapping turtle and other creatures, lovely trees and plants.and a stream. There is a large outdoor area where children can... More

Some really neat stuff and the grand kids had a ball. The zip line and top of the tree walk was a little over blown. When half the adventure is only putting on the safety gear. Good learning experience for kids of all ages. The eagles in the picture are better looking than those in person. They didn't look happy...
