Great for families. A local gem. It's worth the trip and the memberships are great for families. Way more manageable than the shlep to Boston!

My little ones absolutely love the outdoor play space behind the Ecotarium. Shaded by lovely, big trees, there is a sandbox, river, camping site, a couple of playsets, a stage, an old-fashioned water pump, and lots more simple setups to encourage imaginative play. There are plenty of picnic tables so be sure to bring a picnic. My only caution, sometimes... More

We visited on a Sunday (they don't open until noon) and we had to make a reservation for the tree canopy which tours start at 12:30. The 12:30 slot was already booked by online sales, but we were able to get the 1:00 slot. The overall facility is very nice. There are some animals mentioned on the website (for example... More

I visited with a scout event earlier this year. At the time I received a return voucher. About three months after the first visit, I returned with my scout, my youngest and my wife. We brought our own lunch and ate outside. Such a beautiful day and location. Once we made it inside I was surprised to see many new... More

Every time we turned around, there was more to do and see. Inside, there are 3 levels of attractions including a planetarium. We enjoyed the hurricane wind machine and the music exhibit. Outside, we took a nature walk around a pond and saw some animals. I was impressed with the organization and flow of the museum. My 7 year old... More

I visited today with a 4 & 7 year old. My daughter was only 2 on our last visit and today enjoyed it so much longer and more than last time. We stayed for 4 hours which included eating our brought lunch on the property. The sound exhibits were mainly geared towards kids older than those I was with, but... More

Thought it was pricey. $20 per person, train was not working Not enough things to see and do to justify the price. This place is in the middle of a residential area, close to Lake, near route 9 and next to the new North High School. More geared to school kids.

We took our 3 year old to the EcoTarium. It was very easy to find. There are many signs to lead you there. We enjoyed all the exhibits/animals. My daughter especially enjoyed the outdoor play area behind the museum. The bubble exhibit was a hit. The animals looked well cared for. We spent 3 hours there. We'll go again next... More

My husband and I took our son here to kill some time while waiting for our hotel room. Great museum with lots to do. Was disappointed that the train wasn't working, but it needed maintenance - understandable. Our son's favorite part was the outdoor park/playground - very interactive with lots to do. Definitely worth a trip.
