We visited here on 10-18-14 to see Pirates of Penzance and had a great time. The facility is very well run with very helpful and courteous staff. It is always a pleasure to visit. The show itself was great althought it appears they did not use mikes which would have been helpful since it was sometimes hard to understand the... More

The Hanover Theatre is a beautifully restored early 20th century theatre. The shows that they attract are top rate. The staff is terrific and the convenience can't be beat. Definitely much easier than driving into Boston.

Hanover Theatre is a gem ... completely gutted and revived as a World Class Venue about 4 years ago as of 2014 it is #12 for highest ticket sales in the world and it's right here in our own back yard... we don't get there nearly enough... this night we attended a comedy show and it didn't disappoint ... it... For a new facility, they cram you in.My friend was quite uncomfortable-but it's all about the money.Get a front row seat even in a section further back so you'll have at least some legroom.I've been more comfortable flying-and that's saying something as a disabled person!

I've been here many times, it is a beautiful theater. I've sat in many different areas, and just about every seat is a great view. Convenient parking right across the street. They add new shows all the time. Highly recommended.

Neat theater with a wonderful selection of shows to see....something for everyone. Prices so much better than "Big City" prices. Easy for us to get to, not too far to travel back home at night. Big name stars that I probably would not be able to see if they had not come to the Hanover. Enjoying the chance to "spread... More

Nice venue...good site lines...productions are well worth the ticket prices I enjoyed this venue as a kid...back then it was an old vaudville house that had been converted to a movie theatre.... if you're thinking dinner on Shrewsbury Street and then heading over to the show.....eat real early, as traffic heading to the parking garage directly across the street has... I've been here for several events. The box office staff has always seemed a bit curt to me. Seats aren't very comfortable. They allow people to bring drinks to their seats and it gets noisy and dirty. There are no restaurants within walking distance. I wish they would spruce up the area to make for a more pleasant night out.
