The grounds were as beautiful as the post card. The view of the ocean across the street was beat taking. The stairs were in need of repair somewhat. They should have some benches by the lighthouse so people can sit and enjoy the view.

We visited the lighthouse during an open house around Christmas. The lighthouse was all decked out with wreaths and Santa greeted us at the door. Had a very informative tour of the building and learned about the history of the light. We were so pleased we were there when the building was open. The location and view out to Martha's... More

Nobska Lighthouse was our first stop when my wife and made our first visit to Cape Cod. It was definitely a good introduction to the area. It sits a top a small hill, so the best photos of it can be taken from down below. There's a great little garden area at the base of the road where you can... More

Makes for a really nice scenic walk or better yet, bike ride. I cannot bike so we walked from Falmouth, about 2.5 miles each way. You just need to turn left on the Church street ( the overpass above the bike trail), right after the parking lot. It was very enjoyable. The Lighthouse is located on a hill, very picturesque,... Nobska Lighthouse is in a beautiful spot on a hill overlooking the water. It is great for a short pitstop going to or from Woods Hole. We took a lot of pictures, but unfortunately there wasn't much else to do there. The road going to the lighthouse is a little narrow, so I would recommend driving rather than walking or... More

the lighthouse is very picturesque with a fantastic view of the ocean. Great for photos. There wasn't much else there but is a great photostop or if you are interested in lighthouses. It is a great drive on your way to Woods Hole.

This is a great spot to stop and take in the ocean. It provides a nice view of the Islands and the sound. In warmer months there is usually a fair bit of boat traffic to watch as well. On stormy days you can feel the intensity of the ocean below. The lighthouse opens to the public as published in... More

Great scenic bike ride along the shore to the lighthouse. Stunning views. Unfortunately the light house was closed when we were there.
