Lovely Lighthouse - Lovely View

I can't help but stop on my regular bike rides past Nobska. She always beckons me to take moment to stop, look up, look out and be thankful for the moment.

Tricky and athletic if you go by way of the rocks at the shore. Nice views and wonderful fresh air. aslksdjf'lj'gj'pao ;lkjsdflj;glkijg ;lkij;lj;ljkf

One of the most amazing views of any of the lighthouses that are dotted around the Cape Cod area coastline. Make sure after parking your car, walk across the street and walk down to several benches and vantage point areas to look out over the ocean. The view towards Martha's Vineyard is spectacular. We spent an hour or so, just... More

The drive over to this Lighthouse from Falmouth is truly beautiful. The ride is winding and you really have to pay attention as your attention is drawn to the stunning views!!!

We visited this lighthouse in late March. I walked the short distance on the beach and up the road to the lighthouse. Views were beautiful all along the way. This was a great little add-on to our trip to the Woods Hole Aquarium.

Beautiful view of the water and surrounding shore area. May have gotten a better tour of the lighthouse inside during main tourist season if a guide was there but grounds and lighthouse were in nice shape. Pretty little park across the street dedicated to a young lady who was a tragic victim of the 9-11 plane crash. Nice way for... More

I love lighthouses and their history. The Nobska Lighthouse is easily accessible and a great photo op. A definite stop when visiting Cape Cod.

There aren't a lot of drive-up lighthouses and Nobska Point Light is one of the best. Currently administered by the U.S. Coast Guard, the operation of this magnificent landmark will soon pass to the Town of Falmouth and a consortium of historic preservtion groups in Falmouth. Commanding a sweeping view of Martha's Vineyard Sound, the Elizabeth Islands and Buzzards Bay... More

This lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world.I too have photographed it many times at different times of the day and different seasons as well.It is near Woods Hole and overlooks the channels between Falmouth and Martha's VIneyard and the channel separating Woods Hole and Naushon Island.

We would've liked to have seen the inside of the lighthouse other than looking through the dirty little window, but as with many things in the winter on the Cape, the lighthouse was closed. No informational signs to tell about the lighthouse were available other than the sign by the road. Across the road from the lighthouse is a great... More
