My oldest son loves marine biology, so we decided to do the boat ride on our trip. We called the morning of and were able to get on the afternoon ride before we headed home. We were short on time and had to park nearby. I would recommend parking out and taking the bus in. The meters are for 2... More

My 3 daughters ages nine to fifteen enjoyed this trip out on the water. Elise and Fox were great guides! They explained everything in their touch tank and we pulled up a lobster trap, took a water sample from the ocean floor, etc. Great views of Falmouth.

We've gone on this cruise twice now - once with just our kids and again this year with our nephews. The trip is the perfect length for younger kids (1.5hrs) and the crew does a great job keeping the kids engaged. The trip out and back in is super quick and the scenery is incredible. Be sure to visit the... More

GREAT guides, lovely scenery, excellent value - highly recommended. Our group (which included couples as well as families with kids) was with a guide named Fox, who did an outstanding job ensuring that everyone learned something and had fun too. Samantha sold us our tickets, then came aboard too (and helped distract me when I was feeling a little wobbly).... More

I went on the family explorer cruise with my son, who is 4. I was a little worried that it might be a bit complex for him, and some of it was. But overall he enjoyed helping the naturalist pull the traps and look at the "creatures". The staff was nice, friendly, and well informed and when my son got... More

Took a cruise on July 4th from Woods Hole to offshore Falmouth. The ship stayed very close to the barges where the fireworks were. It was a bit cloudy, but it was still a great view of the fireworks show. The fee was about $65 per person, but they served appetizers and drinks. Most importantly, it was a very convenient... More

Great experience. As a middle school science teacher, I have taken students there for the past 5 years and they love it. We will come back every year!

We underestimated the time it would take us to get to Falmouth and called to say we would not be able to make it - the attendant was so nice and polite, it was no problem at all - just put us on the next trip. Our guide was funny, kept things moving and got the kids involved so that... More

The entire OceanQuest experience was five-star. Our party consisted of four adults and four children, aged 6 through 12. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The guide was very knowledgeable and held the children's undivided attention as she was teaching them. We met and learned about ocean creatures, and the children analyzed water samples and performed experiments to better... More

Our group of four children (ages 6, 8, 10 and 11) and four adults enjoyed an extraordinary experience on the OceanQuest Hands On Discovery cruise. We all learned something new and interesting about the condition of the ocean and the special creatures that live there. All of the kids were intimately involved with every aspect of the trip and especially... More
