Thought provoking films

Great venue and wonderful selection of films - saw Brian Wilson 'Love and Mercy' - have returned every time we're in the area

Under the new stewardship of executive director, Doug Jones, Images has been reclaiming it's sense of purpose and reputation. See films here that the mainstream theaters don't show. They also show films in conjunction with Williams College departments and host film festivals such as French films.

This local theater shows unique independent films. Their selection is done with great care as each offering is a real prize. Management clearly extends itself to research and acquire quality movies.

This small, cozy place shows independent and foreign movies that do not play at other theaters. Saw an interesting recent Polish film there. Admission is $10, $8 for seniors. Members get in for $5.

Comfortable seats, good movie and great concession stand treats. There was nothing not to like. Just what every Main St. needs.

This is a small, comfortable movie house on Spring Street. It's my cinema of choice, because it needs community support and it shows first-run films. They take credit cards for tickets (and offer senior and student discounts), but the concessions are cash only. There are always very friendly folks at the counter, and I like that you can meet up...
