It's really quite magical to be among all the butterflies. It's a great getaway for people of all ages. I use it as a mini vacation in the winter. Siting quietly with the plants and butterflies is renewing. For adults not visiting with children - It's a good idea to time your visit when schools are not visiting. It can... More

It is so much fun seeing so many different species of butterflies. I was absolutely shocked when one landed on my shoulder.

Came across this place online while looking for something different to do on a visit to Massachusetts. It's a small place, but very enjoyable. Loads of different species of butterflies flitting about. Managed to get some great pics. There's a learning area where you can find out about process of becoming a butterfly from caterpillar to chrysalis. For an extra... More

The Butterfly Place is a place to visit with butterflies. Period. There are a few displays, but the highlight is the atrium where you can feel the peace of hundreds of butterflies whirling and dancing around. The atrium is a beautiful, quiet little space filled with nature's little jewels (well...some not so little!). You can sit or wander for a... More

This is an excellent place to go - beautiful, very educational and worth the trip. Although not a very large place, it houses an incredible assortment of butterflies and moths from all over the world. Feel free to ask lots of questions. Staff member was knowledgeable and eager to point out details. Don't miss the small birds or the educational... More

This is a small attraction, but its perfect for little kids. There are butterflies galore, they run from tiny to bigger than your hand. We son enjoyed watching them eating nectar, and enjoyed the little birds. It is basically two things, a butterfly room, and an education room with hatching butterflies and information. I wouldn't drive from hours away to... More

I cannot get enough of this place. I adore butterflies. I visited with my 12 and 8 year old. Make sure you grab a butterfly identification map for a dollar on your way in. My kids searched for butterflies for at least an hour. Beautiful and fun. Butterflies fly and hover by 100s in a big greenhouse. Outside exhibits with... More
