The beach was pretty busy with kids and families which is why we were there. The cost to park is a bummer, $20.00 per car but a necessary evil. It was a nice beach with low almost no waves and lots of seaweed but the water was like bath water, the warmest beach ever up North!

Went on Labor Day around 4ish and did not have to pay the $15 parking fee. Beautiful beach, nice beach for sunbathing and walking. Clean facilities and handicap ramp. Would be worth the money to park to spend the day.

We stayed right down the road from this beach so decided to spend a few hours on a Saturday. They must stop charging after Labor Day as we just drove in - no cost. Parking was decent, we had no trouble finding a place, and with only a few steps, we were on the sand. Very windy when we went,... More

This beach is close to the hotel that we stayed at so travel was easy. It cost $15.00 for a day pass and it is good for all of the beaches. The beach is clean and has facilities and food stands. Perfect place for a family day or just to relax and enjoy the sun.

I had a great day on this beach. Very pleasant, family atmosphere. Clean water and sand. Nice changing area and a good snack bar. Everything you need for a day on the seashore.

Pleasant beach with a lot of shells but not anything amazing. It was very close to our hotel so we went one late afternoon with our young sons. No life guard on duty and ocean seemed to get deep fairly quickly.

Went here after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. This beach is just right for our family. The beach was not overcrowded, it has a snack bar and very clean bathrooms. we will definitely go back!

It was a nice beach. Parking was $15 for the day, a little pricey. There is a snack bar and restrooms with showers available.

We were recommended this as a good spot to watch the sunset and the bonus is that it's free to park after 5pm. Drive down to the end of the car park - onto the gravel bit and park next to the rocks then walk along to the end. The sun goes down behind the dunes not over the water... More
