We visited the zooquarium on a hot, humid, day. I had read some reviews, and had come to the conclusion that as long as my expectations were kept in check, the petting zoo was a good way to spend a rainy afternoon. I had also read Kim Grant's book about the Cape, which mentioned a sea lion show. I figured... more

Our kids are both under the age of 8 and they LOVED the Zooquarium. It's very misleading from the outside as it just looks like a huge warehouse, but once you get inside you realize that there is a huge area out behind the building where kids can pet and feed the animals and even ride ponies. On the house... more

It's a very small aquarium with mostly local fish and a zoo with mostly farm animals. It's nothing fancy but we all had fun! You can feed and pet a few of the animals. It was perfect for my daughter who is almost 2 years old. I thought it was very cute. You are on Cape Cod not in NYC... more

It costs $9 to get in there and there is not much to see. If they get the seal show back maybe it will be worth it. more

Website isn't clear about the hours of operation so make sure you call before you travel any distance. Better yet, don't travel any distance for this rundown chicken coop with rude "zoocrew" employees. more

It was a cloudy and cold Sunday of Memorial Day weekend 2009 and we had no idea what there was to do on a non-beach day. So about 7 of us went to the zooquarium. Although it was only $9 with out AAA discount, it was awful. The sheep were filthy and had matted poop on their fur, I felt... more

Had to give a shout out to ZooQuarium. I have been visiting this place on the Cape since I was a kid and always love it. You get to feed, observe, and learn about animals. Super fun when you are little, and funnier when your older. Easy to fit into the day. The place had seal/sea lion shows until recently.... more

We were fortunate enough to see the sea lion show right before it was disbanded due the sudden death of both sea lions. Other than that this place quite honestly is not that impressive at all and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Other exhibits, attractions, etc.. are pretty mundane and boring. more

If you enjoy watching 2 chickens run around the Zoo at Mock 5, this is where you need to go. These two chickens were running around the zoo for about 25 to 30 minutes zig zagging in between the guests making some people freak out and scream (that was my wife). It was better than going to the comedy club.... more

This place is neither a zoo nor an aquarium. The second we pulled into the parking lot I turned to my husband ans asked, "What are the odds that THIS PLACE is WWF approved?" You walk in to this place and wish that the retro time machine would have delivered you to a roller rink instead. It looks like NO... more
