The Big E great annual event!

The Big E is a great event for all ages, and is a family tradition for us. I went a child with my parents and have continued the tradition taking my family every year.

The Big E has been around forever and ever. In the fall I believe it holds the largest fair in New England. Something for everyone of all ages. Shows, bands, great food stands and restaurants, Better Living Center with loads to see and buy. We go every year especially like the State Buildings of New England. During the year the... More

The Big "E" is easily the best fair anywhere in the northeast. It runs for 17 days (including three full weekends) and you can experience some of New England's finest traditions (and a lot of artery blocking carnival food). Concerts are also included in the fair (some at a separate admission). Kids love the midway, but it gets pricey. Best... More

There is the usual farm stuff but we spend most of our time shopping and eating.... DEEP FRIED BUTTER... are you kidding me !! Awesome stuff!... More

The Big E is a yearly routine for my family and I for the past 24 years. We have always enjoyed going as a family, because there is something for everyone to do.

Went to a dog show at the Big E and was extremely disappointed to arrive to a parking lot that was a sheet of ice and we stayed over until the next day and after a light snowfall found the parking lot was even worse! When you are transporting highly prized show dogs and their equipment it would be in... More

Always a good time and the food is amazing. That will get you every time. I try to go at least once a year. If you are traveling with the family, it is best to go on weekdays. Weekends are almost always packed. Prices can vary as you have to pay for everything so it is recommended that you use... More

Large buildings with concrete floors and high ceilings. The facilities have bathrooms, food, and lots of parking. It is somewhat annoying that if you attend a three day trade show, you must pay a separate parking fee for each day you attend. This being the case, you think they would do a better job clearing the snow in the winter.... More
