A little off the beaten path. The entrance to the park is a little hard to miss and as you drive in you may wonder what view people are talking about because the first part of the access road is deep in the trees and has little signage. Keep going - the view is worth it.

Trails are well marked and hikes are long enough to get a good workout without over doing it. You can park at the lot at the entrance if you drive there, but I walked from my hotel near by.

Nice park with both dirt/grassy trails and winding paved roads. In the past five years, it lost a significant forested chunk to ugly development on its southwestern flank. Nevertheless, this is still a nice park for a contemplative walk, a jog up and down some gentle hills, or to walk Maurice -- but please pick up after your dog! There... More

I like to come here for some uphill walking, but there is no separate trail and have to walk on the main road with all the cars zooming past me both ways, it can get really dangerous. You have to walk up for a bit before you get to any trails. There is however ample parking off totten pond rd... More

This park is filled with many happy memories for me. I brought my daughter here before she could even walk, and it is still clean and well maintained. There is a lot of fun equipment to play on at the base of the park. Then as you progress up the hill you will find many picnic areas along with great... More

This is a quick, fun walk through the woods! There are numerous paths to follow and up top a beautiful view of the city. Easy access and you can even drive up if you don't feel like walking.

Nice hills and trails. Great scenic overlook of Boston. Enter from Totten Pond Road and you can drive up to overlook if you like. Long uphill walk if you want the exercise.

Had to stay in Waltham for a week, and took the opportunity to visit the park whenever I could. Enjoyed the view (to downtown Boston) and even saw deers. Had some envy for the people living nearby...

Great for walks or jogging when in the vicinity; trails are a obscured by fallen leaves in the fall; the maps and Google maps don't tell the half of it! Get a map from the hotel or a friend. I went out for 4 miles and did 6.8.
