A few things I like about the Embassy: First, if you want an opinion about a movie, ask the ticket office staff. I've found their descriptions and comments to be more accurate than I would have expected. Movie selections range from the better blockbusters to nice indy films. The location very convenient, with ample parking right behind the theatre-- and... More

I'm a resident of Waltham and like the going there. Convient place, clean, comfortable and good up-dated shows. Liked it enough I bought the package deal. No complaints

Love this Cinema in Waltham. They tend to play so of the more independent type films you can't find elsewhere except maybe Kendall Square Cinema. They also have the more "general public" and top rates films when they come out. It appears to be a much smaller theater than it actually is. While it is NO AMC or Lowes huge... More

I have been going to this theater since I moved to Waltham 13 years ago. Always a great place to see a movie although it use to have more of the independent movies like the Embassy in Cambridge, which I prefer.

I love this place! It is increasingly rare to find Mom and Pop movie theaters in the U.S. but the Embassy is going strong, with affordable rates and frequently changing selections for their multiple screens. Right off of Moody Street, Waltham's go-to restaurant destination. Bathrooms are always clean, popcorn is always fresh, it's just great for a date night or... More

My husband and I went here on Friday night and watched a 10pm movie and throughly loved the theater. True, it doesn't have the huge screens and reclining seats like all the newer theaters but it was a GREAT theater! The lobby and food concession area needed swept and cleaned in a serious kind of way but other than that... More

This place is a gem. Multiple screens, lots of good films, surrounded by restaurants with a parking garage right around the corner. Well worth coming here.

Long after the Oscar movies have left the mainstream theaters, generally the only place to find them is at little out-the-way theaters like the Embassy Cinema in Waltham. Even these smaller theaters generally offer online ticket purchases these days, although I found that their machine didn't know about the purchase, so I had to go to the box to pick... More
