I really like smaller movie theaters and the Embassy fits the bill. It started as more of an art house theater with current indies and films you wouldn't see else where. Unfortunately this was not sustainable and they now show mostly first run Hollywood movies. (Get it--films vs movies). At least their sister theater in Kendell Square still shows the... More

Great munchies popcorn with REAL BUTTER, they also offer beer. Lots of fun little restaurants two minutes walk from theater.

I went to see (don't judge) the new Twilight movie at this theater and I was happy to see that the place was super clean and cozy. On Tuesday nights, they have cheap tickets so check it out! Nice place to see a movie and go to dinner on Moody St after!

I was surprised with how nice this theater was and that there was stadium seating, given that it is a smaller theater. There are a variety of movies to choose from, including big box-office hits.

Some people... If you have any complaints about this place, please try the Newton Cinema or the one in Belmont, two area 'art theatres' so nasty, dirty and smelly it takes will power even to sit down. You can almost feel the seats breathing underneath you - yuk! Personally, I'm grateful for any small theatre that is still open -... More

It's a small cinema but has a good range of films showing. It was clean and tidy despite being very busy and the service shown was swift and efficient.

This cinema offers $6 dollars Tuesday's admissions. This is great. You can get to see a movie for $6! The cinema is a little old but adequate. The staff is friendly. The concessions area is not crowded. They don't offer a great variety but it is good enough for someone who is looking to enjoy a movie.

This is your standard movie theater. Not run down, but nothing exceptional. The snacks are, as always, horrendously overpriced. Went on a Sunday evening. A good experience overall.

This is a great movie house in Waltham Ma. They get some great films. Parking as usual is a little tight on movie night. Some great food places nearby for dinner. Great dessert available at Lizzy's. Clean bathrooms and great staff.

Had never visited the cinemas before and was very pleased. The snack area offers many selections and good healthy ones as well. Nice for a change. The cinemas are comfortable and very clean.
