This was another requested stop on our tour, but the lighthouse was not open when we were there. Still it was a great photo op on a beautiful day at a beautiful location.

I was not able to visit this lighthouse on the island, but was able to get a nice picture and view of it from the Island Queen ferry. If you are on the ferry, it is visible from the right (starboard) side.

We were on a tour with Martha's Vineyard Private Tours & Excursions. Our driver Jim got us a great vantage point for the photo, which is a bit of a chore since the light is on private property.

Bike from anywhere in Martha's Vineyard or walk from Vineyard Haven for some excellent views of the ocean, boats including ferries and beautiful seaside homes.

This charming lighthouse is the only one on the Vineyard manned by a lighthouse keeper who lives on the property. It's a short driver from Vineyard Haven and worth the trip. Just beautiful.

Cute lighthouse to add to your list to visit while in New England. Quaint, but nothing exciting. We parked the car and were done viewing in 10 minutes.

A great view from the lighthouse if it is open. The lighthouse is attached to the keeper's house. It is a charming private residence. We were lucky enough to be invited around for dinner. Not everyone is so lucky. If you stop by, I am sure you will get a peek. Even if no one is home, the view from... More

Lighthouses are great to see and photograph, except this one you can only do that from the road as it's closed to the public. It doesn't take away from its beauty, just from the overall experience. The sun rises directly behind it over the water so get there early for best photo. If you add the nice white picket fence... More
