One activity I wanted to do on Martha's Vineyard was to ride a bike. Family members recommended the bike path through the Manuel Correllus State Forest. The bike bath offers shade and also natural trails. Be sure to stop on the southwest side to observe the Heath Hen statue. There are also horseback riding trails as well. Many of the... More

I enjoy biking on the Vineyard, but I find the main roads intimidating due to the blind curves and lack of a shoulder. THe bike path through the state forest is well maintained and I can enjoy the ride and the forest environment without any anxiety about car traffic.
