Layed out much differently than most gardens with lot of green space creating an exceptionally beautiful garden. You do not expect how nice when you park as garden is on both sides of road.

A goodly of the Berkshire attractions close after Columbus Day... and a few more at the end of October. Some say they don't have heat, some say the flowers have all gone, but it may just be lower volume. Whatever. They told us we'd be welcome to come in, walk around and take pictures, but there wouldn't be much left... More

We stopped on our way out of the area just before the harvest festival. It was clear they were focused on setting up, but the person in the welcome area took time to explain where everything was located. We spent about 90 minutes walking around in a light rain. While it was the end of the season there was plenty... More

We got there and it was already closed for the season, but seemed to be a good place to go with the kids. They have children's garden, edible garden with several types of vegetables.

We were worried about visiting in late September - thought many of the garden's attractions would be past prime, but in reality it was a great time to visit. Quiet, only a couple of other folks there so we had a private stroll through some of the most beautiful perennial gardens I've ever seen. If you love gardening, or even... More

Having lived for many years in northern Berkshire County, and having visited neighboring Norman Rockwell Museum many times, it seems hard to believe that we never sought out this beautiful garden treasure. Although late September is not the best time to visit any garden in this gardening zone, it was a beautiful blue sky day and the gardens were lovely... More

This was a peaceful afternoon stroll though the botanical gardens. Many gardens with different seasons to appreciate. Find your favorite time of year and you won't be disappointed in the gardens and landscape.

Loved the gardens but the Martha Stewart potting shed with rooftop garden was impressive. The planting season around the shed beautifully done. Colorful and happy.
