There is so much to see and learn here. The chapel is elegant and filled with art and statues and the history of each of them. Out front on the lawn is a life size replica of the stations of the cross!

The church is located in a beautiful part of Stockbridge. The grounds are nice to walk around and the church itself is a nice place to say a prayer and reflect on the good things in life and give thanks.

The shrine is great, but you will like it if you are not a catholic. There is a beautiful huge green park with a small pool and the grotto, a woods, nice walk and spectacular view.

We vacationed in the Berkshires in Oct,2013 with friends & spent a very pleasant afternoon at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy just outside Stockbridge, MA. The church is beautiful & in use for mass, confessions, chaplets, etc, several times a day. Visit the several side altars if you have a chance. The grounds are wonderful with life size... More

Would have loved to walk the grounds more, but there was snow. Stopped in the chapel and was amazed by it. There was a wonderful outdoor sculpture of a pondering Jesus that amazed me,

The shrine is lovely and has an immense amount of beautiful wood carving. The grounds are spectacular with bronze statues depicting the Stations of the Cross. I'm sure they were gifted this property but I can't help but wonder if it might have been more "merciful" to give the money to the poor or create living spaces for the homeless

The grounds are amazing with life size sculptures of the 14 stations of the cross. The church is so beautiful. We caught the end of a mass there. We felt very spiritual on these grounds. A must see regardless of your faith.

Our visit was timed well as there was a Holy Mass at 2 pm that Thursday. The location of the shrine was accepted by our GPS so we did not have a hard time finding it. The drive there from Albany, NY was very refreshing as we witness the fall colors of the trees along side of the road. Upon... More

I was brought up as a Catholic and got my first eleven years of education in an exclusive girl's school run by nuns. Despite this, I was never the religious type. Visiting the Divine Mercy Shrine was a sort of cathartic experience for me. The chapel is beautiful, the grounds serene, an ideal place for meditation. All in all, a... More
