Stockbridge, Mass....the idyllic home of Norman Rockwell has much to offer even if the the main drag is quite short. But if you are going up and down and checking out the museums, such as the Norman Rockwell Museum, or admiring the Red Lion Inn, you may miss the peaceful sanctuary known as the National Shrine of Divine Mercy. It... More

Spent a couple hours here and loved it. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful. Church building was very reminiscent of the chapel in Poland. The path of the stations of the cross was wonderful. The sculptures were beautiful. There were also a variety of other shrines. Overall it was a place of peace and serenity, with the kind of prayerful atmosphere... More

As we were making our way to Naumkeag, I more or less joked with my daughter, "Let's visit the monastery." We met the groundskeeper who was very friendly and so we decided to take a tour of the bookstore, loaded to the hilt with Roman Catholic consumer goods. Interesting even if your aren't especially a part of that faith.

This by far was the best part of our trip. You can spend the day there on these beautiful grounds. You get a sense of magic and spirit here. The gift shop is gorgeous and very fair prices. If you buy anything there, at 3pm is the novena at the chapel. The priest will bless your items if you have... More

This shrine is spacious and peaceful place. There is much to see in side and outside. The gift shop has many items to choose from including water from the spring in Lourdes. Theren is an out door candle lighting and beautiful statues.

Don't miss this iconic, historical, holy, peaceful Shrine. The inside of the chapel is a piece of art, as is the religious art throughout the grounds.

This was our second time visiting the shrine. The first was over 20 years ago and I was so looking forward to returning. I remembered it as a beautiful peaceful place. This time, it was raining, so we could not enjoy the grounds. We arrived just in time for the recitation of.the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The prayer was beautifully... More

Going to the Divine Mercy Shrine is always awesome; this time, I was able to catch the last few minutes of the Mercy Hour celebration - always a very blessed and powerful celebration.
