We visited with our 2 young girls (8&6) this fall. It was hot, but beautiful to experience outdoor Mass and take part in a novena. We even had our items blessed. There is a lovely walking path through the shrine grounds which include a huge stations of the cross area, Marian grotto (my favorite!!) and reflection pool. The gift shop... More

We visited on a very cold day so only drove around a bit and visited the shrine. There was too much snow to walk around the grounds and it was difficult to see where we were officially welcome. We will definitely need to go back in the warmer weather. The photos of the main Church look wonderful.

Had a mini getaway during MLK weekend, and decided to head out to the Berkshires for some quiet. Found this place when looking for things to see during the trip, and made the quick drive from Great Barrington up the hill to the Grounds in Stockbridge. There was a lot of land with beautiful landscape views. Walked around the stations... More

Just up the hill from the center of Stockbridge this is a wonderful place to stop. The grounds include a number of grottos, the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy (stain glass windows and mosaics give a wonderful feel inside the church), Stations of the Cross (sculptures - outside), Lourdes Grotto and more. Very quiet peaceful place to just stroll... More

We had no idea. The compound is beautiful, but the series of sculptures of the 14 stations of the cross are stunning and very moving. Go see it.

This was on my bucket list, and I was not disappointed. Beautiful grounds. Very peaceful! A perfect setting to renew and reflect. The gift shop has a nice assortment and helpful staff. There are many areas to be found while walking the grounds to sit and soak in the peace and beauty.

The life sized stations of the cross with a backdrop of the Berkshires...simply breathtaking. A very serene and holy experience is created for you at this shrine. I left feeling calm and very close to God. Can't wait to go back.

You can't help but feel spiritual walking the grounds - the Stations of the Cross are exquisite! I walked down the path to the Grotto of Lourdes which was also lovely! Just beautiful!

If going to Mass, get there early. I arrived close to Mass time and it was full, standing room only for us late arrivals. Much more beautiful than the pictures. MUST visit. Many areas for prayer and meditation, some more accessible than others. It was the end of summer; should have brought mosquito repellent for when visiting the areas among... More
