I've been back several times for various events, and have never been disappointed. There are all sorts of activities going on there! I went to a Spinning class (Real Spinning, not the exercise! lol), walked the permanent... More

Seating for about 50 people in an old but rehabilitated bank building which serves as a showplace for local paintings and a venue for music concerts all summer. We attended a two trio show by 3 guys, Brother Sun (commanding, pleasantly political, like Pete Seeger reincarnated, and great singers) and three women, the Box Car Lilies (interesting singer-songwriters who were... The building is a old bank that was restored using "community preservation" funds. It is an attractive year round community center for arts and culture.

Great artwork by local artists. Music and presentations throughout the year. Classes on many topics. It helps to expand your horizons and you get to meet some wonderful people. Wonderful gift shop full of local treasures that were handcrafted by artisans from around the Cape..

Well worth a visit. Visit the store, too! We have some incredible artists on the Cape and with the special lighting we have, you should see whatever is showcased when you are here.

I confess we had visited this area for years without taking notice of the cultural cents. Now We have been to Art shows, Music concerts, arts and craft fairs and lectures there and they are free. A god place to poke your head in to find out what else is going on in the area. Often events they wont be... More

On Saturday night, April 6th, we had an opportunity to hear Greg Abate and Paul Nagel, Todd Baker and Gary Johnson trio. We have heard Greg play on many occasions. Each time it is a treat, but his performance at the Cultural Center was stellar. Greg is an internationally famous jazz musician who plays about 150 days a year throughout... More
