Candlepin bowling is a blast! Very different from regular bowling, which made it fun. The pins are thin and the balls are the size of bocce balls. My teenage children are bowlers with high averages and they were just as horrible as the rest of us! A lot of laughing! When we first arrived we put our names on a... More

I have been a Saccos for both pleasure and work events. I recently held my work Teams end of year gathering here, 40 Managers! We bowled and enjoyed delicious pizza and beverages.

We have family in the area of this bowling alley and they took us here while we were visiting in boston. It was the highlight of our trip. We had to wait 30 min for a lane, but there's lots of tables and a bar to wait at. They serve brick oven pizza. The candlestick bowling was so fun, a... More

Love to go here with our two year old. The bowling is candlepin, so the kid can play easily. They can put up the bumpers and they have the little ramp too. We order a pizza, some beers, and let the toddler have a ball while we get to eat without worrying whether she is going to explode at having... More

I almost don't want to review this place as it's already completely packed all the time. Great food, fun bowling, great staff. The only bummer is it's very hard to get a lane. Other than that I would HIGHLY recommend Sacco's to anyone! The beer list is ALL New England beers and most of those are local from MA.

Excellent ingredients, real wood-fired pizza oven, large booths, good service. nice salads, too. Kid friendly and gets a bit chaotic on the early side.

My friend and I stopped here in the late afternoon on a Friday. We were able to sit right in front of the brick oven which warned us quickly after walking around in Davis. I had a gluten free flat bread which was delicious but almost $5 more than the gluten full pizzas. Originally I had wanted a simple salad... More

The pizzas are great but if you want to bowl you have to get there at an off-time or be prepared to wait a long time.

Great placed to eat an bowl. They have great salads and pizza it's a great place to bring kids. The bar is made out of a bowling alley which is kind of neat and you can see your pizza cook. I would like to add that they make a Gluten Free pizza too. If your in the Davis Square neighborhood... More

Candle Pin bowling is easier than regular bowling. The place is generally swarming with kids, but you can usually bowl anyway. The pizza is great, for those who like thin crusts. But even better is watching it bake near the red hot coals in the stone oven!! I'm also glad they retained the original decor of the bowling alley. It... More
