a lot of fun - with beer!

We were able to make reservations since there were 8 of us. We arrived on time to find our lanes waiting. We ordered some beer and had a great hour. Fun on New Years Eve!

Had a great meal with fresh local food and awesome beer selection and ended it with a fun bowling contest with our friends - Highly recommend Sacco's

A walk back into time with good old fashioned bowling with a twist. Pizza and creative drinks. Love the flatbread pizza and fresh local vegetables used on their pizza's. They have a very good bar serving old standby's and newer drinks that quench your thirst.

My kids love this place and the pizza is fantastic. Just a quaint Davis Square hangout with an energetic vibe.

My friends all surprised me for my 19th birthday by taking me here. It is a great place for a celebration like that. It is a charming little bowling ally with candle pin bowling, as the New Englanders like, along with flat bread pizzas. The pizzas were good and the bowling was fun, as it was my first time trying... I can't say I spent much time in Sacco's when it was our old school bowling alley, but a part of me hates to see the old places go the way of hipster heaven....Which Sacco's has. That said, the food is very tasty and fresh. We go from time to time, last night was a fund raiser for the Nave... More

A few of my friends were looking to get together on a Friday night but not do the typical bar scene. Meeting up a Sacco Bowling haven was the perfect alternative! We grabbed a round of drinks at the bar, almost all the choices were brewed in New England, then split 3 awesome pizza's. Upon hearing the vegetarian special, taco... More

By itself, the bowling would rate a three or four. Some of the balls are chipped, and you need to push the button to reset the pins, as well as keep score yourself. And by itself, the pizza would rate a four. Seeing the wood-fired pizza oven cook ten pies at time was great, but we would have liked our... More

Candle pin bowling was a new experience. Perhaps more similar to skittles from Somerset than ten pin bowling. Well, there are 10 pins but the rules are different and it is damn hard to knock all 10 down in 3 rolls! We loved it, our American hosts were better bowlers but that did not matter. A large choice of beers... More
