The Sandwich boardwalk is worth taking in if you are in Sandwich. Kids jump off the bridge at high tide when the marsh fills in. In the season you can rent kyacks, paddle boards, etc. and there are two beach areas. Enjoy!

Very pleasant stroll on the seaside of Sandwich. Gets you to the beach and a bit of a walk from the end are a number of very nice restaurants. A definite "should see" in Sandwich

First boardwalk that I have been to that didn't have stores next to it. My husband and I went at Sunset and walked it to the beach. It was neat looking down at all the channels that the water follows and it was very peaceful.

Love this beach area though I've never actually stayed on the beach but it's a very picturesque walk along the boardwalk. There is great kayaking here too. Parking can be a problem but the place is definitely worth a visit.

Maybe I'm spoiled by some of the world-class boardwalks where I live, but I prefer a boardwalk that is wide enough to pass people coming in the opposite direction without everyone feeling like they're imposing upon each other. I didn't mind the lack of railings on the 15-foot walkway during low tide, but I'm sure some people would consider it... More

Visited here recently based on TA reviews. It was a nice break stop to get out and walk around. The boardwalk ends at a beach at the entrance to the canal. The boardwalk is fairly narrow and only has railing at the bridge. There's not much to really do there, and since the walkway is so narrow, not conducive to... More

Gorgeous walking path at sunset, bring your camera and wear bug spray. Children will enjoy catching crabs , bring some twine ,frozen hot dogs and a bucket to catch crabs and you will have hours of fun for the children in your family!

A secret that locals try to keep to themselves. A great walk to the beach over the creek and marsh. The kids all jump off the boardwalk at high tide

if you enjoy walking this is the place to be and end up at the beach. it is a beautiful view of the bay side of the cape where you can walk out in the ocean a long distance at low tide. great for picture taking of the long long boardwalk.

We stayed in a bed and breakfast across from the glass factory so it was about a mile walk to the boardwalk. The water can be low or high, depending on what time you're there. You can swim in several different spots. There's a spot on the boardwalk made especially for jumping off during high tide - there's even a... More
