The marsh is beautiful but is, after all, just a marsh. The walk is fairly short and a bit high off the marsh. It's worth one trip but hardly another.

Wedding party had photos here.. stunning! This is top of the list when planning the event, however, hurricane damaged and we thought all was lost. They rebuilt it.. seems stronger. Perfect.

The Sandwich Boardwalk is a hidden gem in a Cape Cod town that seems to be trying to keep its historic beauty very much to itself. Getting tO the town is just map reading (or GPS), but once there signage is pretty much non-existent. Finding parking to explore the town means cruising until you can grab an on-street bay, while... My family (including a four year old) took a walk out here on a misty overcast morning. We enjoyed the scenery on the boardwalk (which is raised w/ no sides) and enjoyed walking along the beach while we were there. We were there at low tide and enjoyed looking at the tide pools and finding rocks and shells. Stay off... More

After spending a day on the beach and swimming in the sound, finding shells and pieces of marble and granite, I was completely enamored by the small, quiet beach. The boardwalk was a nice walk, with a perfect view from the top of the stairs of a heavenly sunset, pink and lavender swirls painted above the salty waves. This is... More

The boardwalk looked lovely from the parking lot... which is as far as my husband and I got. Parking for the boardwalk now costs $15, and you must buy a parking pass elsewhere. Not in the parking lot, and not after 5 p.m. when the Department of Natural Resources office is closed. Sure, had I looked online, I would have... More

Boardwalk traverses the marsh to the beach. Nice views but relatively short walk. No railings in places and not the widest of walkways. Quite windy which is refreshing on a hot day but older walkers should take note. The walkway does not extend along the beach. Not the only access to the beach as there is a parking lot (Fee).... The Boardwalk is an interesting walk over the marsh to the beach. There are two beach areas, one in a small cove with shallow water and over the dune-the beach that faces the ocean. There were many families and kids playing. It wasn't crowded at all, and we were there on a weekend day.

This is a 1000 foot boardwalk that crosses the marshes to the beach. Most of the walkway does not have handrails so I can see some people being hesitant to cross. I did cross it on a very windy day and enjoyed the views from both sides. There is a nice beach on the other side which you can drive... More

I must not like tidal marshes with boardwalks, but even on a sunny day with a modest group of people, I found myself not liking the scene. It seemed a touristy and also swamp-like, with a surprising lack of variety in plants and bushes. Just my honest opinion, which some, perhaps many, will vehemently oppose. If you like the more...
