This review is about Sandy Neck public beach, possible the private side is better...... I usually do my homework online before I take the family to a new place. In this opportunity I read mostly good comments about Sandy Neck but I was sadly surprised with my experience. We went last week on a sunny day with our SUV hoping... More

We swung by on a drive of the cape to enjoy the beach. They have great facilities and by far the best lobster rolls we had across several places on the cape. Unbelievable for a concession stand. The beach is rather rocky but seems uncrowded. Mostly locals and casual people here. Good vibe.

This is a beautiful beach on Cape Cod. We've lived here many years, and this has always been one of our favorite spots. It has a refreshment stand and bathrooms open to the public in summer. The beach is particularly beautiful at low tide with tide pools that bring in sea life, great for kids. At night the four wheelers... More

my husband, 13 month old daughter, and I spent a day at the Sandy Neck Recreation Area in early June. It's not just a beach but a "recreation area." There are trails you can walk along near the parking lot and then down the beach there are dunes you can walk in. If you have an SUV or trailer you... More

Sandy Neck is 6 miles long and would be good for walking except for the rocks, that's all the beach is made up of. The restroom and snack bar are first rate and there is lots of parking. $20 to get in for the day which I thought was a lot considering the poor beach. With all the choices of... More

Here is a tip... If you spent the day out and about, such as bike riding, or shopping, swing by the beach in the late afternoon evening for a relaxing stroll along the beach or just to sit and watch the sunset. There is no charge to enter the park after 3:30PM.

It is a great beach for a nice long walk. There are parking spaces available and then you go down the stairs and have reached freedom!. The beach is big, long, wild and perfect for a romantic walk. There were people with dogs, families with children and even some kids playing with a small kite. I would have like to... More

We had our first visit to Sandy Neck last summer - staying with our daughter's family who had rented the magnificent "Seawana" cottage. I'm a local history nut and absolutely overdosed on the wealth of history, lore and trivia which abounds this place. This was a wonderful experience for us all (especially grandchildren) to live "off the grid." "Seawana" has... More

This is a lovely beach with beautiful sands but from mid May onwards the parking goes up to $20. We got in for free because we were pre season. The car park is next to the beach.

No matter what time of the year one goes to Sandy Neck Beach, you would not be disappointed. The rolling dunes that hide one group from another and are probably some of the most photographed in the world. Bring your blanket or get permission for a bonfire, this will definitely be in your memories, listed under FAVORITES. On a summer... More
