Great views, a great walk, nice and relaxing. Lovely to go for a walk and watch the ocean. Lots of parking. Easy to find.
This is another beautiful spot on Cape Cod. We went in the evening and it's nice and quiet. To have complete access, one must buy a pass for the vehicle, but it's well worth it and keeps it nice.
I have been going to Sandy Neck Beach for over 40 years, and I never tire of it. The dunes are magnificent, and walking through them on the path takes you away from the cares of the day. The view extends all the way from the Cape Cod Canal Coast Guard station to halfway down the Cape to the east.... More
We spent two mornings walking the beach at Sandy Neck. We walked about 4 miles each day. The sand is packed down due to the 4 wheel drive vehicles that can drive along there during the day. I was disappointed that the shorter trail was closed as I wanted to see more if the dunes even though it is difficult... More
This was nice beach other than it being very rocky. We love the water but had a very hard time finding a spot where you could actually lie on a towel , way too rocky.
I've been going to Sandy Neck Beach for 27 yrs. The view is beautiful. The recent storms have made the beach quite rocky. The water continues to be cold but refreshing. I still prefer the Caribbean.
An awesome place to just hang out for the day or w/e if you have a camper, which we did. We can't wait to go back.
Only 3.3 mile hike but they failed to tell us about the green head and mosquito infestation and that the hike was in the sand (not a trail) with no shade whatsoever. I got heat exhaustion by the time we reached the campsite. I was very sick, overheated, vomiting and couldn't keep water down. We called to get a ride out,... More
I do not understand the rating being so high for this beach. My comments will be identical to each review - how could anyone give above 3 stars? I can only explain this way. If you go to the beach to sunbathe, swim, or play in the sand or water - do not go here. Pros: Snack bar and bathrooms... More
Too bad Sandy Neck is sooooo rocky!! This is a gorgeous almost untouched area of Cape Cod. Beautiful sand dunes and miles of beach to spread out on. Walking is great but wear beach shoes unless you have very tough feet!!
