Visiting on Friday when they have family day and while the Big Bugs were there was great. Lots of activities for small kids. Seven, five and two year olds had a blast. Clean and well kept. Cafe was good. Beautiful grounds. Just a good time. Kids were amazed by the antique cars and even one they could sit in. Will... More

A place for the "Whole Family". Antique cars for Dad, Garden for Mom and Sculptures for Kids. The trail to the sculptured insects was fascinating. The antique car exhibit will have you wanting to start your own miniature collection and the garden was filled with variety of blooms. There are even benches for you to rest and enjoy the scenery.... Sandwich's most beautiful attraction. Gorgeous gardens, first class auto museum and interesting attractions. We returned after many years and were wowed all over again. The traveling exhibit of giant wicker sculptured insects were terrific, and the wicked garden was interesting and clever. Unfortunately, some of the attractions are under renovation, but go anyhow. This is not the kind of place... More

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed the Heritage Museums and Gardens, especially since they participate in the Blue Star Families Program. We very much appreciate organizations that support the military and their families. My husband loved the antique car exhibit. They have 2 floors of cars with boards describing each car. The gardens are beautiful and their Hidden Hollow area... More

At first it seems like an odd mix... Antique cars and gardens? And sculptures throughout the gardens? But it all works and the day is a fun mix of new and old. Sit in a Model T and get a pictures taken, meander through gardens, see a windmill. Lovely. The best part? Hidden Hallow - an interactive play area for... More

We recently visited Heritage Museums and Gardens with our grandchildren (ages 5,4 and 2) on one of their Family friendly Fridays. Even for children this young they had a good time. The daylilies were in full and magnificent bloom, the old car display was fun as well. Would strongly recommend a family membership if you are planning more than one... More

Beautiful, well kept garden with something for all ages. The bug sculptures were very interesting and we enjoyed the car museum. I was very impressed with their Day Lilly collection. They have thousands. The gift shop was disappointing.

A short drive from Hyannis. We first toured the two floors of antique cars and the curator was fantastic informing us about many of the cars. This really added to the enjoyment of the exhibit. Then off to walk the grounds and locate the giant bugs made from twigs. Truly a site to see. They are scattered around the grounds... More

Went to heritage gardens on July 10 2014. Got there at 10:30 thinking we would have the place to ourselves. Wrong!!! The place was full, line waiting to buy tickets. We had a Great time. There are main paved walking paths, side paths firmed down with wood chips which ran off main paths. Gardens were just beautiful. The current exhibit... More

We were surprised by the variety of wonderful things at the Heritage Museum and Gardens. The exhibit on the car collection was well organized and enjoyable. A volunteer shared his expertise highlighting features on the cars. The garden was beautiful. The giant insect sculptures were startling . The Wicked Plants exhibit was fun especially if you are a gardener. Transportation... More
