Today was cool and perfect for visiting and walking the grounds of Heritage Museum and Gardens. The seasonal Rhodys were spectacular. The winding riverbed of grape hyacinths and daffodils looked like a Monet painting. The husbands enjoyed the changes in the displays. The docent was warm, friendly and informative. The antique carousel was as delightful as ever and makes one... More

What an enjoyable place for a little bit of solitude. Beautifully maintained property. There is a lot of walking but there is no hurry. The antique auto collection is fantastic. The cars from the early part of the 1900's are something to behold. Away from the maddening crowds.

This is a very well maintained 70 acre garden and museum. You can spend 4-5 hours here easily. Take more time if you have it. The entrance fee is a little pricey but you will see why when you enter. You can get $1 off with AAA membership. There is an antique car exhibit. There are picnic tables scattered throughout... More

This can be a slow stroll or a dashing adventure depending on your preference or on which path you take. There are paved walks and even a jitney for the handicapped to take you from building to building from antique cars to an antique merry-go -round. There are also gravel and dirt paths to explore the back areas and the... More

We went with few expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We were concerned about crowds during the Rhododendron bloom time, but no worry. Plenty of parking, a fine little cafe with reasonably priced food, beverages, and ice cream. Don't miss Hidden Hollow for kids, the Labyrinth, and the Flume Fountain. We did not plan for, and did not check out, the... More

Walk around the perfectly manicured gardens, enjoy the lovingly restored car collection, see special exhibits such as Norman Rockwell paintings, Wyeth paintings, or giant wooden bugs tracking through the gardens!

This place is best when things are blooming, lots of walking or take a ride in the golf carts. 15 or twenty nice old cars to look at. a small gallery of exhibits nice collection. a wonderful hand carved merry go round to ride, a funky tree house area for the kids to play, a larger exhibit hall with Andrew... I loved looking at all the old cars...fascinating! There wasn't anything I didn't like about this show. The grounds are beautiful too.

We stopped here on our way home from the outer cape, and were so glad we did. It's a beautiful place to stroll around and even walk a few nature trails - like a super-sized version of the Arnold Arboretum in Boston. But beyond that there's the "Hidden Hollow" for kids, a nature discovery area with all kinds of fun... More

Fun to see cars that i use to see only in old movies. Heritage museum is Interesting.. but garden is so so. Maybe it because of weather. The day was very windy and rainny.
