We loved the Heritage Museum. It had vast, green grounds that you could walk around on (with a stroller) and at the time, we saw the Big Bugs exhibit, which was nice. The automobile exhibit is really interesting and the cars are beautiful. The cafe in the Gardens isn't so bad and is a good place to grab a snack/drink... More

This had good reviews but I think I was expecting too much coming from England where we have spectacular gardens with year round interest. The museum bits were interesting enough but apart from nice floral displays by the entrance and around the windmill the rest of the site was mainly woodland - nice enough but not what I wanted to... As a group we took the reserve ahead in depth tour of the museum. We got to look at the cars that are not on display and all the facts about them. They only do this tour once per month and it was worth it! It's amazing how this collection came together in a few years. All it takes is... More

My wife and I visited as part of our honeymoon and felt that we were able to get a pretty thorough experience of everything. We started off with about a half hour in the antique car museum, which was neat and a lot of fun, even for not bring specifically car enthusiasts. We wandered around all of the different gardens,... There is something for everyone in this wonderful place. The Automobile Museum is full of beautiful old cars, the 1931 Duesenberg is probably many people's favourite. The grounds are equally as enjoyable, with many paths taking you through trees, flowers and down to the lake. It's easy to find some peace and tranquillity here away from the crowds. Sit in... More

Do yourself a favor & spend a day here! If you like to walk outdoors & enjoy beautiful landscaping, old time cars, casual gourmet dining, plus more then make sure you go! We had a great time & show your military ID for free admission for the family.

What an amazing day to spend the day either with children or without. There are many things to do and see. Take a walk through the gorgeous grounds, looking at the flowers, enjoying the sights and enjoying the natural beauty of this amazing place. So many things to see and do, you can get wrapped up here for hours.

Today I went to sandwich museum and gardens and it was absolutely wonderful. The grounds are kept very clean and there are labels on most of the plants and trees. They now have the hidden hollow for the kids but I found myself enjoying it just as much. The cars museum was the first stop and reading about the history... More

Gardens were great. Antique auto collection was spectacular! There was a special ongoing exhibit of dangerous ( poisonous) plants done in such a manner that the kids visiting were thoroughly enjoying their experience. Well done!
