My wife and I had the opportunity to go not knowing what to expect. We were very pleased. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful. The cars in their collection were simply amazing. The Wyeths:America Reflected was a special treat and it runs thru September 27th.

I spent a lovely afternoon with a friend visiting the gardens here. Just beautiful.. There is an interesting flume near the entrance. We specifically visited the Wyeth exhibit... N.C., Andrew, and Jaime. Worth every moment. One of the docents was especially knowledgeable.

We went there because we needed something to do, it wasn't a great beach day, overcast and slight drizzle. We found this online and decided to give it a shot. It was great, the kids enjoyed the exhibits and the gardens were beautiful. The highlight was riding the 100 year old carousel. The teenage girls must have ridden it 5... More

What a great, eclectic mix of activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy. In my case, that included myself, my husband, and my seven-year-old daughter. Highlights for me - the tail end of the season for the lovely hydrangea gardens and the Wyeth exhibit (and specifically, walking into the gallery just as Andrew Wyeth's granddaughter was beginning a... In all the years I had been coming to the cape, I never went to Sandwich. What a fabulous part of CAPE COD...We went this weekend and it was great. The Heritage Museum is wonderful. Besides the wonderful gardens, there is an amazing Carousel, and wonderful folk art exhibit, a great art museum, and a wonderful building that houses old... More

For a number of years we have wanted to visit the Heritage Museum mainly because we wanted to see the cars, however, the gardens are absolutely amazing. Though we enjoyed the cars, we also visited the gardens. They currently have a secret shelter exhibit throughout the gardens until October 15th. In addition, there is a Wyeths art exhibition, which was... More

The day we enjoyed this attraction was sadly very hot and humid, that did ruin a bit of our fun. The grounds are lovely (hilly, bring good shoes, they do have golf cart shuttles though) and well maintained with many nature trails. If the day had not been so hot we would have explored these more however the art collection... More

My husband, teenage daughter and I recently visited the Heritage Museums & Gardens after an attempt the previous summer when we had arrived too late to fully enjoy the many attractions spread over 100 acres. First we visited the amazing car museum filled with vintage cars that included a 1931 yellow Duesenberg owned by actor Gary Cooper, some vintage cars... More

The gardens are lovely with some unique features (e.g., the flume). The car museum balanced the experience. (My husband spent 1 1/2 hours just in the museum.) Although we have no young children, we were impressed with the imaginative facilities for children. I am an educator and felt that "The Hidden Hollow" provided great hands-on experiences.
