When we are in gloucester we always make a stop in rockport. When we are in rockport, we always stop and admire this landmark. A must see if you are in the area!

It is a small red barn type building with bouys on it. There were so many party yachts parked around it I couldn't get a pic of it without any drunkards handing around it. Nothing special but a landmark anyhow.

Rockport is a quaint seaside village. Although we visited Labor Day weekend, the tourist crowds weren't too bad. The village and shops are quite fun, and it was nice to see Motif Number 1, but it's just a simple red boat-house (albeit a much photographed one).

The view was breathtaking….so New England with boats docked and the red "barn"/boat house. Very peaceful looking.

I'm almost not even going to post any of my pics cause they all look the same except for this one, yet I can't stop myself from snapping away whenever I visit. It epitomizes what coastal New England is in many people's minds, except Hollywood's. The movie "The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds (for the guys and gals)... More

As tourists we enjoyed walking along this Harbor and taking photos with our iPhones. The pictures all came out well defined and showed this quaint waterfront well. we emailed these photos to friends on the spot. A fun thing.

When I was young I took oil painting lessons and this was one of my first paintings. I always thought it was in Maine., so this was a very pleasant surprise. I enjoyed taking photos from many angles. It is such a new England site. No matter which way you look at it, it is picturesque.

I must have taken at least 15 or 20 pictures of this over the past 10 years..early AM, afternoon, sunset and in the rain..almost worth a trip in mid-winter but not quite! Always beautiful!!!

It is a stunning place to photograph. Its better than a postcard... visit Rockport! I took pictures from several vantages points and I ate ice cream while gazing on it.

Quaint fishing village that is very picturesque. Quite a long way to get to the end of Cape Ann, but worth the detour. Local shops and a snug harbor that rises and falls some 10 feet with the tides. Memorable stop during a pleasant afternoon of exploring the New England coastline. Nice stop for photographers.
