Nice easy walk! You can bring your dog if you would like - very pretty quarry lake, then really nice view of ocean. Bring your camera!

We spent a nice few hrs but we expected a bit more after reading the description on the Trustees of Reservation website. A nice way to spend a few hours but would not drive 90 minutes to visit again.

This spot deserves a five-star rating if nothing else because my husband, son and I have barely stopped speaking about what a delightful surprise is this spot. On a whim, we strolled through with our Labrador on a chilly November afternoon to the delight of all. The 19th century quarry bordered above with walking paths features a periphery of high... More

This location has the view of both the water-filled quarry and of the ocean. The trail down to the oceanfront is a little steep, but the trail around the quarry is flat. Parking is $2. The location is just a couple of miles from downtown Rockport and its shops and eateries.

This very accessible State Park provides gentle walking paths and great views of the Massachusetts and NH coastline. The small museum at the Visitor Center provides an interesting history of that piece of land.

If you love the ocean, then this is the place to view it! The views are just beautiful. The trails to the ocean are easy and enjoyable for all ages. The quarry is in itself interesting, historical, and the self-guided tour is well-written and easy to follow. For photographers, there is a variety of interesting photo opts: the quarry, the... More

We worried that we couldn't get in as out of state folks, but it was only $2 to park and wow, was it worth the stop. Just a short hop from Rockport, there are easy trails around the quarry lake (no swimming!) and down to the rocks on the ocean. High bluff for breathtaking view. Great place that gives you... More

Self guided tour is very helpful. This is an old quarry whose beauty must be seen. Try visiting early in the day and then at night for sunset. Wow how magnificent The ocean views and the quarry make this a must see adventure

The walks are short but rewarding. Great views of quarry and ocean as far as the eye can see. Bring insect repellent and water!

We loved the self guided tour and the views from Halibut Point. We took the "look out path" and sat at the end of the path by the water enjoying the view. If you take the "beach path", you can be very close to the water and sunbathe or just enjoy the view as well. Good place to take a... More
