It started as a rainy day. We decided to do wine tasting. We met Rob. Awesome!!!! Patient and knowledgable. We decide to stay on after the tasting, sitting in the huge, comfy couches, in front of the huge fireplace. We get some cheese and crackers, and it's like home. Enter John, the owner. He was gracious and humble and oh,... More

Very small winery off the beaten path. They import the grapes for their wine and really focus on the ciders which were excellent. We ended up buying a case. They also have a mead that is very good. You also cannot leave the place without purchasing their apple cider donuts. If you like to hike they have hiking trails and... More

The owner has one of the best products I've had in a long time. Best Cider Doughnuts EVER!! Good wine and really good cider. My only complaint is parking. You're either on the grass or on the steep hill. Not easy for someone handicapped or just someone who can't clime a steep hill. Other than that's one of my favorite... More

Love going to this winery! We had my daughters bridal shower here and it was a wonderful event. Of course the wine was great, the food fabulous especially the burgers. Fun at the bonfire toasting huge marshmallows for smors! Great time

First people there on a rainy day. Wines were just taken out of cold storage so hadn't had a chance to breathe. Advertising is a bit misleading as only your first sample free and the next five are a dollar a piece which isn't bad but not free.. Friendly people, decent setting - great place I can imagine in the... More

Super great location and very welcoming spot. If you've never had apple wine, you must try this. I recommend the ice wine and the Johnny mash cider.

They offer tastings: 5 tastes for $5. Friendly staff. Very good cider doughnuts. Peach Melba pie was good.

We had a great time visiting Furnace Brook. The man hosting our tasting knew what he was talking about and was able to suggest tastings that would be better suited to customers palate. Generous pours, amazing donuts, an all around great place. We would highly recommend it and are headed back to Alaska a few bottles heavier.

This was my first time at Hilltop Orchards. My friend and I were participating in the moonlit snowshoeing event that happens once a month. We went March 7, 2015. Thankfully the weather wasn't as cold as it has been so 20 something felt wonderful. There were over 60 participants in the snowshoe walk. We had a glass of wine before... More

Great Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and the added attraction of wine-tasting--a tough combination to beat in winter. We've been here a number of times and continue to enjoy the grounds, the friendly staff and the wine and cider. The owner, John, is extremely welcoming and has created a great venue for winter enjoyment. The full-moon snowshoe events and hikes are great,... More
