Whale sightings seem almost guaranteed on this trip. Did not expect we would get so close to these 50 feet / 50 ton creatures. 25 yards at the closest at a guess. On board commentary from the scientist was excellent, well delivered, highly informative and Trace interacted well with all the passengers. One off the bucket list. All staff were... More

We worried about the weather, seas and lateness of the season but on 10/6 had a great outing on a sunny, relatively calm day. Saw the "most famous" whale in the region, several pairs that joined up, and in the far distance, one or more whales breaching!

A friend highly recommended this activity. He took this tour in June and he spotted many whales. We went there in October (Columbus weekend) and we were concerned about the timing. We weren't sure if it would be too late to see whales. We spotted several whales and their babies. It was spectacular. It was very cold, windy and choppy... More

We weren't sure whether we were going to be too late to see whales (we were there during the first week in October) but we needed have worried. We saw 9 whales, including 2 calves. We saw the oldest whale they have monitored, a great grandma called Salt. The staff are really knowledgeable - the scientist who led our tour... More

1) Their location is perfect. As soon as you leave the harbor you may see whales. 2) They guarantee sightings or you will receive another trip for free. 3) Tip: Try to schedule your trip in good weather (low winds). It makes seeing the whales much easier. 4) If, at all possible go in late APR/MAY or SEPT/early OCT. (fewer... More

I'd set my expectations pretty low. It wasn't that I didn't think it would be a good tour, but this was my first whale watching experience and I didn't want to be disappointed when we saw very little. Low expectations meant that the huge number of sightings we had were even better. It was a superb trip. The vessels are... More

By far the best experience of our visit & the best whale watch I have ever been on. Tickets are reasonable. Three trips a day while we were there. On our watch the sea was choppy, but we saw many whales. They stay out a good 4 hours. Just loved it - the boat ride alone was great.

What a great afternoon! We saw about ten humpbacks, including cows and calves, as well as minke whales. The commentary was informative and interesting and we enjoyed the trip. It was pretty choppy, which we warned about before hand, and we were offered motion sickness medication who we got on board. Because it was pretty choppy we did end up... More

Brilliant! Loved the very informative comentary of the guide. We spotted minky, and fin whales and the absolute highlight was a humpback with her calf. Amazing experience.

My sister and I went on this whale watch while on our recent visit to Provincetown. We opted for a Monday, mostly cloudy day, as we knew there'd be less people. Despite this, there were probably still about 100 folks aboard the boat, The Dolphin lX, though it didn't seem overly crowded. The lady at the ticket booth, when asked,... More
