A friend and I took a brief walk here recently, during our Provincetown trip. The sand is uneven but the beach is relatively clean and not too crowded. I hate it that they allow vehicles on the beach. To me, this seems to add a pollution factor which is unfortunate, but vehicle tires, weight, leaks and emissions also contribute to... More

Second to none. What a beautiful place to spend the day, or a lifetime if possible. Water is clear, sand dunes are beautiful. Services available.

If you are on the Cape and would like to relax and forget about all the little things that have been bugging you, park your cell phone in your car, grab a blanket or sand chair, and set up alongside the ocean at Race Point Beach. I can't think of anything more relaxing than staring off at the water and... More

This is a beautiful beach and because we are here after Labor Day it really isn't crowed. A beautiful place to walk and enjoy the water.

Our trip was off-season this year so the beach was nearly deserted--just fine with us. September is still warm enough for a long walk on this pristine beach, watching the plovers and gulls, and listening to the crash of the waves. Very romantic and a nice way to unwind from whatever. If you love nature and the ocean, this is... More

What atmosphere here! You can't describe it adequately with the dunes, lighthouse, deep blue ocean, and the beach itself. Can't forget the sunsets either. A very unique beach not duplicated anywhere else in the US although some other Cape Cod locations do come close. We came for a wonderful sunset on this trip and there was no fee on this... More

Thought I would walk the beach to see the sun set. What I found was peaceful quiet, undisturbed waters, sunsets, and waves lapping on my own private beach. If you walk a bit towards the light house you will find PEACE. Imagine finding peace on earth. :) Great Beach.

Beautiful white beach sands, few people and seals popping up very close to shoreline. You can spend the day with picnic victuals from one of the markets in town. Just the sand and water and dunes- very relaxing.

Love this big, broad, exceedingly soft, sandy beach. Love the high dunes and walk down to the beach. Waves here are always different from the beach @ Herring Cove - sometimes bigger - sometimes calmer. If you have kids, make sure to check them both out.

It might get crowded, but this is still my favorite beach, even outside summer. Beautiful sunsets on clear days, and on one visit, we were greeted to whale sightings right from the beach, and groups of seals swimming by every 5 minutes.
