Saw two shows on this trip to Provincetown. I think this is a great venue with poolside during the day and nightlife at night. The shows are of good quality. My only complaint is that the seating is very uncomfortable. They need to invest in better seating options for their shows, Even in the smaller venues the seating is uncomfortable... More

My husband and I attended the Miss Richfield 1981 Play with my poodle performance over the July 4th weekend. It was absolutely hysterical and worth the $30.00 we paid for each ticket. The wait staff was polite and so were the security people. The person at the box office was somewhat unfriendly and one of the bouncers at the front... More

Oh goodness gracious...this is the most I have laughed in ages. We took a party of 40 to the Crown and Anchor for an evening out. Miss Richfield did not disappoint. She is hilarous and everyone had such a memorable evening. She picked our brother and our friend out of the crowd and got them up on stage and embarrassed... More

I stopped in the front room last night of the Crown and Anchor to listen to Bobbie Wetherbee play. What a treat! He truly is legendary being a part of the Provincetown entertainment landscape for over 50 years. His energy is infectious, his repertoire seemingly infinite. In addition his knowledge of songs and music add an educational flair to the... More

I wrote a lovely review about this spot that I desperately want to retract. It breaks my heart. I'm not sure if management changed or what but prices were high- they were never low before BUT they were worth it. They changed their menu. The beloved Mac and Cheese was gone and "never coming back" although last time they changed... More

Went to the wet t party in P-town the last weekend of womans week! Packed with plenty of entertainment around! Friendly atmosphere without any drama! Everyone danced the night away without a care in the world! Loved it!

My husband and I had dinner there 8/15/13. The wine list was poor. The clam chowder had 1 tiny clam and lots of potatoes. The heirloom salad was tasty. The steamed cod was flavorful and light. The"special" halibut was cooked well but under seasoned. $170+ worth? Hardly. Our anniversary dinner was a huge disappointment.

My father actually discovered the Crown & Anchor by chance as he wandered past and heard Bobby Wetherbee, the following night I went back with him intrigued by what my Dad had described as one of the most entertaining and charismatic singers he has seen - and he wasn't lying. Bobby was wonderful, the entire audience was enthralled. I was... More

Friends kept telling us how amazing Bobby Wetherbee was, and although I believed them, seeing truly is believing. His energy is unbelievable and the good feeling he exudes is instantly contagious. And the piano playing and singing? The man is a human juke box and you can't help yourself from singing along at the top of your lungs. It's a... More
