This museum is very supportive of members. They are allowed to show their works several times per year. The shows are up to date, and focused on Cape Cod and P town painters. They offere summer workshops, classes, etc. It is in the beginning of the East end, Gallery section of town. A MUST see.

the focus of this small museum is artists of the region. P'town has special light, special ambiance. artists have known this for decades, and major masters have come to Provincetown and the outer cape for this experience. the north side of Provincetown is special, more galleries, quieter than the south side, so a visit to the museum offers a nice... I come here every year and enjoy the exhibits. A good size collection but not too big. Check out the annual 12x12 show/fundraising exhibit.

This place is rich in history and unique exhibits. I am an art lover who knows nothing about art and it is always enriching to see the exhibits here and learn more about the myriad of artists who have travelled through or lived in Ptown. Every July they auction off these tiles that are made by various artists. There must... More

Somewhat away from crowds, I really like this small Museum.. I have been there several times over the years as they always offer new non-permanent exhibits showing interesting works. .. Their book-store offers a great range of Art litterature and.. the atmosphere is very inviting. The garden sculptures are perfectly adapted to the quiet and shady space around the building.... More

Lovely art museum; worth walking around. Friday evenings are free, so go then. It has a gallery of local artists work which is great.

Small, overpriced with sour staff. The sculptures in the garden outside are lovely so just enjoy them without bothering to go inside. Not worth the entry price.

I never expected to find this gem in Provincetown! An incredible collection of American art - by recognized artists - all with ties to Cape Cod. A very special place with a curatorial focus - this is not your average museum.

Great museum with a great history to its art and artists and welcoming feel for visitors. The staff was very knowledgeable and happy to help with questions about the art and the location. Thank you!

Visited Ptown during the snow. It was great to have the opportunity to do some activity beside shopping. We really enjoyed the annual display of uried artwork of the local members.
