It's hard to know where to begin. Our experience was top class from beginning to end. This business brings new life to the meaning of family business. The people in the office are so wonderful and try to accommodate any and all requests. Our driver Dave was stupendous in his knowledge his abilities and his friendly attitude. The sunset tour... I took my kids on Art's Dune Tours for the first time this year--I have been coming to Provincetown/Truro for vacation for about 45 years and never toured the dunes. It costs about $28 for passengers 12 and older and a bit less for kids under 12. It was a bit pricey but the experience was great. The driver takes... More

This was our second time going out on a Dune Tour with Art's, and it was just as incredible as the first! The dune experience is like nothing you've ever seen before, and it's not at all what you'd expect. It's a whole other world, with beautiful and unique features. Our first trip was with Dodi (two years ago), and... More

This is by far the best thing to see / do on the Cape. It's like you are in another world when you are out there. Just peaceful beauty. Robert, the son of the original owner, Art, does an incredible job with pride to share the history of the dunes and explains ways to help protect this wonder of New... More

Great trip through the dunes. Very good guide-lots of local knowledge and history. Beautiful views of the dunes and Ptown itself. Well worth your while. We have been several times.

The Cape Cod National Seashore is a place of rugged, stark, natural beauty. Much of it cannot be truly enjoyed unless you go out on the dunes, and the only way you can do that is by going out on one of Art's Dune Tours. It's the only company allowed to travel on the dunes, and the crew at Art's... More

Despite years of living and vacationing on the Cape, we had never gone on a dunes tour until this year. We made a reservation the night before for a 10:00 AM one-hour dunes tour. Several groups and several vehicles went out to accommodate those who wanted to attend. The truck was comfortable, even when sitting in the back! The trip... More

We took the 1 hr tour & loved every minute! The ride itself was fun, the dunes amazing & fascinating! Our guide, Dodie, was terrific - knowledgeable, friendly, & warm (with a great sense of humor). Getting out to take in the views & wiggle our toes in the cleanest sand I've ever felt - made me want to slide... More

We really lucked out and got the owner as our driver. Rob is Art's son, and has continued his father's business, started in 1930s or 40s. You are driven in a comfortable RV to a private road (really a path on the sand) where you see the dunes hidden from US6 by a high dune. You just don't imagine they... More

Yesterday we had the pleasure of taking the fast ferry from Plymouth to Provincetown for the day. We knew that we wanted to do the dune tours but didn't know if there would be any openings. We checked at the office and were put on stand-by for the 1:00 tour with 2:30 as an option if it was not available.... More
