Words don't describe the beauty of the dunes. You have to see it for yourself. Remote and peaceful yet in the middle of everything. We took the sunset tour which was even more beautiful. Dodie was our driver and she was gracious and fun. This is a MUST!

These people are so efficient that I received a call on my cell phone that day to confirm our reservation and answer any questions. There are 6 adults to each vehicle. We had DAVE as our driver, and I can't compliment him enough. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable - giving us interesting facts and people who had lived on... More

Very easy to make a reservation. Very difficult to actually take the tour. Here's why. Parking in P'town sucks. You have to allow AT LEAST an hour, once you get to Provincetown, to park and arrive at your destination. AND it'll cost you. So in addition to the $$$ you pay for this tour, you will also have to throw... More

The sunset tour met all my expectations for seeing 60 foot dunes, beach shacks, a life saving station and a beautiful sunset. Our guide was local and provided a very interesting description of the history and inhabitants of the beach shacks we saw on the dunes. The beach where we had dinner came complete with many seals swimming close by... More

We wanted to do something "touristy" with my husband's parents who live on Cape Cod (Barnstable) while we were visiting and decided to go out to Provincetown for the day. I found Art's Dune Tours on-line and on a complete whim, booked a tour. My in-laws, who have lived on Cape Cod for almost 30 years, had never done the... More

We booked an afternoon tour of the Province Lands Dunes. The tour was billed as being informative on the local history of the area and the dunes. Unfortunately the only other couple on our tour were two ladies who never stopped talking. The talked so much that they precluded the driver/guide from imparting much information. Every time he'd say something... More

We were with a tour group. This was a prearranged activity. It was fun and a welcome departure from the tour buses. We didn't get to see any seals (just because there weren't any out), but the ride and view from the dunes was breathtaking. Don't miss out! We loved it!!!!

My fiancé and I went to Provincetown to get married last month. In searching out venues and ways to have a simple ceremony near the water, we discovered Art's Dune Tours. They were great. We ended up going on one of their regular sunset tours and really enjoyed the trip out into the dunes and down to Race Point Beach... More

I've been going to the Cape for years, but this was my first Dunes tour. I Loved it! Our guide was Susan. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw many seals in the water close to the beach and I learned a lot about the cape and dunes. I can't believe I've never done this before - would do... More

There are so many things to do and see when you get to Provincetown that it can be overwhelming. In our opinion, not be overlooked is Art's Dune Tours on the National Seashore. They use comfortable, smooth riding, four-wheel drive Suburbans to take you off road through the National Seashore. You glide up 100-foot sand dunes through some of the... More
