I'm sure this tribute to the Pilgrims was meant to turn into an overpriced tourist trap. Pass. more

At first I was dreading the climb to the top of this granite stone structure, but when inside the monument and passed the third floor it gets easier...its mostly ramps and hardly any steps which was great in my opinion since Im not that athletic! ha I did feel like I was going in circles as I was climbing to... more

The P-Town Monument starts off with a tour of the museum. A simple museum, good for tourists. Then, off to climb up the monument. It has stairs at the top and bottom, but it's mostly ramp, then a step at the corner, ramp, step, ramp.....good views at top if you go on a nice day. Remember where you parked first... more

The monument was absolutely breath taking. The walk up is hard but if you take a few minutes to read each of the stones on the walls it's not as bad. Take a bottle of water with you-you will need it at the top. My Fiance proposed at the top when we were all alone so it is a very... more

Ridiculously priced, trash all over the place, condom wrappers in the parking lot, very dirty area, the pilgrims who landed in this area would be very disappointed in what the area has become. more

It is a long hike up (116 steps and several ramps) but the view from the top is stunning. Just take a few breaks along the way to catch your breath! And take a pair of binoculars with you. Also, there is a very interesting museum at the base of the monument to fill in those "knowledge gaps" about the... more

We found this useful as a first place to visit in Provincetown. The view from the top of the monument is good, and helps you get a view of the layout of the town and surrounding area. It seemed like a very long way to go up to get to the top though. There is also a museum at the... more

Incredible view from the top. You can see everywhere! You can see the monument from anywhere approaching Provincetown, and from out at sea. The blocks inside have town names and dates, it was amazing. We rested by visiting the old cemetery next door, very cool headstones. more

The Pilgrim Monument is now my favorite place to visit! On a recent trip to Massachusetts, my boyfriend proposed to me at the top of the Pilgrim Monument. It was probably the most romantic spot he could have chosen to propose. I said YES!!!! Our wedding is going to be themed around the monument. Not only did we enjoy the... more
