You can ask questions of the people working the information desk, and they really are helpful with suggestions, and giving informational flyers on many places and activities. It is also air conditioned, and they have a restroom inside. There is a parking lot there with pay meters. From there you can walk to all the waterfront attractions.

This is a real visitor center right in the main village along the waterfront. Stop in there, and get a map, and the answers to any question you may have. I know, I know. Lovely friendly lady gave me some good tips but didn't know which attractions were open vs not in the winter season, this wasted some of our time in checking.

We stopped in for the afternoon and wanted to make sure we saw all of the highlights. The ladies in the visitor center were very nice and went out of their way to be informative. They even told us where the free parking was so we did not have to pay the meter.

The only thing missing was warm tea! Two local "grandmas" gave us so much info on Plymouth and the surrounding area that our head was swimming. They clearly love the area and their job. Sweet and informative plus free parking. Stop here

The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable about Plymouth. She provided a map and many suggestions of things to see - some paid and some free. There was so much that we were able to pick and choose those activities that we wanted.
