We saw over 20 whales. Jumping, spinning, straining. Great fun for this school trip. The narration was wonderful and included many educational facts. More

At least once a year, I and friends go on a whale watch through Captain John. The whole company and biologists truly know what they are doing! I will never use another company (did only once before). Make sure to use Captain John Boats for whale watching, and I heard their fishing boats are excellent too! Enjoy! More

If you understand that the regulations prescribed by NOAA are there for a reason, and if you understand that the actions of wildlife you might encounter on the tour aren’t dictated by the staff of the Captain John crew, and if you understand that yes – riding a big slow boat for 4 hours or so may not be the... My family vacationed in Plymouth 5 out of the past 7 years, and every time we visit, we go with Catp John's Boats to see the whales. And, every time we go, we see whales - never disappointed. The crew is professional and they do a fantastic job of educating the passengers. I just get the feeling that this is... More

My wife and I went on a whale watch in late August and we were thrilled we went with Captain John and his crew. This was the first time I had ever been on a whale watch and didn't quite know what to expect. We were treated with respect from start to finish and seeing the whales was an unbelievable... More

I was able to secure discount tickets online for Captain John's and it was one of the best bargains that I have ever purchased! Even though we had a 45 minute ride to and from the location of the whales, it was well worth it. What a beautiful sight to see a whale arise out of the water just a... More
