Love this place. It reminds me of the great old Broadway theaters with its ornate boxes (photo) and two balconies (photo). Thanks to the good people of Pittsfield for seeing the value of this venue. Great place to see a show. We saw "A Little Night Music." We will be back.

good seats and acoustics, pleasantly restored. Prices fair. Old movie/vaudeville house. The front is a twin to the Michelin shop in W. london UK, now I believe a pricey restaurant

The atmosphere, the musical reviews, anything that happens........everything is a treat when you visit the Colonial Theater. I just love to look around at all of the ornate work that went into the theater many years ago. If you're in the Berkshires make sure you don't miss this gem.

This is a beautiful theater, located in downtown Pittsfield. The city is trying hard to restore its downtown area and the Beacon is a big part of it. You may buy beer and wine in the lobby and bring it into the theater with you. The stadium seating is a big plus for short folks like me, who always struggles... More

This theater is absolutely gorgeous. Just do not sit in general admission seats. More uncomfortable than sitting in a lawn chair for an hour or two.

This is a very beautiful theater. I would say it's a real cultural gem. Inside it's small and you feel connected to what's happening on-stage. The seats are very comfortable, the sound is great. We were very pleasantly surprised.

the architecture, beautifully restored, makes this venue a real treasure. Hillary Clinton made it part of her tour to "Save America's Treasures" when she was first lady. And show here is worth going to.

Beauty of the theater is almost breathtaking. Seating is comfortable and there are NO restricted sight seats.

What's not to like? Our seats were great, but in addition they were comfortable and roomy. The sound was good. The restoration will blow you away!
