Great prepared foods!

Pizza, quiche, so many delicious options to pick up and heat up at home. Terrific quality--a must visit.

Friendly, helpful staff, wide selection of produce, meats, International food items unavailable in many other local stores, easy access and plenty of parking, what more could you want?

Love Guido's - they are perfect for a quick in and out to get something fresh for dinner - have a great supply of fresh fruits and veggies, a terrific meat market, a well stocked deli that makes awesome sandwiches and their sushi can always be counted on to be fresh. My favorite though are their premade meals and salads... More

Of course if you are in the Berkshires, you must make a visit Guido's. We recently made our seasonal trip (after Mexican Food at Xicohtencatl) and once again it did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with every kind of produce grown to man. The meat department is beyond clean and the displays of prepared... More

I have been a devoted Guido's customer for about 25 years. You can always count on fresh produce, fish, meats, and cheeses. I regularly shop at the Pittsfield store, but know that the Great Barrington store is also top notch. I am there about 3x a week.

We came to Guido's on June 30 to pick up some salads and chips for our hostess in the Berkshires. As we entered, there were signs informing visitors that the Senior Citizen discounts were in a "black-out period". Eventually, we overheard a staff member explaining what that meant: there would be no Senior Discounts until after July 4. Really. Think... More

Aside from the amazing grocery selection they have some of the best fresh house made food. I love getting my lunch or dinner here. Especially the cut to order sandwiches. What ever meat/cheese you want they cut it on the spot and make your sandwich! So good. The only downfall is how hard they get hit with pretentious tourists in... More

This is a whole foods that has been vetted so you can enjoy shopping. I love love love this grocery store. From the meat, fish, Deli, Bakery, grocery, flowers and magnificent fresh produce...this is the jewel of the Berkshires. Surprisingly affordable if you do not get seduced by the abundance of upscale. Also the service is the best.

Over the years, many people have suggested what to carry and Guido's has followed up on those suggestions. The store's selection is surprisingly broad and very well conceived. Whatever you got back home after going from place to place, you can probably get at Guido's . . . all in one store. It's as good as it gets. Don't miss... More
