Over the years, many people have suggested what to carry and Guido's has followed up on those suggestions. The store's selection is surprisingly broad and very well conceived. Whatever you got back home after going from place to place, you can probably get at Guido's . . . all in one store. It's as good as it gets. Don't miss... More

Checking out and asked "am i looking right at the plastic forks and knives here somewhere?" The young lady cashier said "you are looking at me . . . Do I look like a knife or fork". She was trying to be funny but it seemed snarky to me. Just one of several similar experiences with Northern counter persons on... More

If you need to stock your larder at your rental with fresh fruits, veggies, pre-cooked items, bakery goods, look no further than Guidos-- but be prepared for sticker shock. I paid $7 for an organic loaf of spelt bread, and it was wonderful-- not something I could have gotten at the Stop and Shop-- but next year, I think I'll... More

Good selection of produce. Wine selection not bad. Meat and fish selection extensive. Quite popular with summer people. Very pricey.

I recently traveled to the Lenox area for a weeklong stay at a writing workshop. I have numerous food allergies and sensitivities and was afraid that I might not be able to find a grocery store that would have the kinds of foods I needed, but I could not have been more wrong. They had a huge selection of allergy... More

I've never seen such fresh meat and seafood in 1 place ever. I could have purchased everything there. There are long lines but the butchers are very fast with friendly service. Their fresh breads and pastries are also to die for. Their cheese selection is amazing and I really enjoy their sampling.

What a great place to shop! They have an actual meat counter with an actual person who knows how to explain and cut meat. I miss that small town individual service. Almost everything was fresh and local....I like that! We loved it all!

This is definitely a Whole Foods meets Trader Joe's meets a local mom-pop grocery store. They stock tons of healthy food as well as some prepared food. We got lunch and groceries and while the budge side of me was not in love w/some of the prices-that is what whole food costs. The must also pay their employees better than... More

Love the small town grocery stores. This place has great prices on organic foods and carries a huge selection of locally grown/made items. If you like the local foods, this is the place to get it
