Always enjoyable.

I am not a big theater goer but do enjoy a show or two over the summer. I have not been disappointed . Look forward to it each year.

Barrington Stage Company's production of His Girl Friday was overly long, poorly directed and disrespectful of the two pieces on which the playwright based his play. This is one of the worst productions I have seen in a 30 year career of professionally reviewing theater as a published critic in an Albany, NY newspaper.

Another great play put on by Barrington Stage!! The ambiance experienced by going to Barrington Stage is incredible. The friendliness of the fellow patrons is warm, making one feel a sense of belonging to the same club! I advise arrive early and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and chat to your neighbour! There are many wonderful theater venues in the Berkshires, this one is almost always exceptional. The quality of the equity actors, Julianne Boyd's spot on direction and wonderful staging, make this a must in your visit list.

If you have a free evening while in the Berkshires, check out what's happening at Barrington Stage Company. On a recent Sunday night we grabbed tickets and a seat at the bar for the Joe Iconis show. The crew at Barrington work their hearts out giving the audience a great professional show and time!

Very comfortable theatre; all seats good. His Girl Friday was ok but a bit dated. Good place to see a play of your choice.

Attended My Girl Friday last night. Had a great time! Theater has comfortable seating and great visibility, and sound. Acting was superb. Story was good- dialogue was clever and entertaining. The costumes and set were great, too. Service- the theatre left two voicemails on my phone to alert me about a downtown activity that would be redirecting traffic. That is... More

Wonderful play, "Lost in Yonkers", at a nice cozy theatre. All seats are good and the acting matches anything on Broadway. They do need to work on the system for the half price day of tickets as it was way too disorganized by putting your name on a list and then coming back to wait again on line to purchase... More
