Barrington Stage consistently offers superb theater in both their large and smaller theaters. I think the quality matches Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Just look at some of the plays which have moved to NYC theaters--Wit, On the Town, Freud's Last Session. This season "Butler" was a high light. I look forward to seeing " Lost in Yonkers" in a couple... More

While in Lenox, Mass, we bought tickets to the Barrington Stage production of Man of La Mancha. From the design of the theatre to the very capable cast of the show to the lighting and stage direction to costume details...all proved to contribute to a strong and creative rendition of this famous musical. We have never been to this theatre... More

We live in the Berkshires where there is never a lack of something to do all summer long. Our favorite theatre without a doubt is Barrington Stage and they never fail to present one play after another of outstanding quality. Most recently we and friends were lucky enough to get tickets and see Man of La Mancha. We have seen... More

This is a gem in the Berkshires. We have season's tickets to both theaters. The Main Stage has at least one fabulous musical each season which often goes to NYC. The Equity cast, spectacular scenery, elegant and graceful choreography add up to an exciting experience. The smaller theater has some new plays. We loved Butler and told all our friends... More

Have seen several excellent productions over the years, including today's Shining City. Great seats, talented actors, intimate theater.

Shining City is an outstanding production. The two main characters are diverse in age, interests, and background and their interaction in this play leaves you with much to think about.

We just saw Man of La Mancha here and it was an excellent performance. First of all, the talent was Broadway quality. Then there was the staging. And finally it's all done in the Berkshires where everyone is fairly casual. Highly recommended!

this production was both humorous and dramatically poignant. the casting/voices were outstanding. the barrubgtin stage doesn;t have a bad seat in the houd=se and if it were cliser to where we live, we would be season subscribers. 3 years ago we saw all my sons which was very well done, nut the musical there now is not to be missed.

"Butler" and "Man of La Mancha" terrific this season. 10 x 10 was an earlier treat. Rarely disappoints.
