We went to try candle pin bowling and it was really fun. It was fun to try a different kind of bowling. We had dinner there as well and our waitress was amazing and brought out my niece's food right away. I had pulled pork which tasted great!

Great little bar to go have BBQ. The food was very good and the service was friendly. It is a nice little cozy place to grab a bite to eat, have a beer and watch people bowl.

I pondered the question as to why Trip Advisor does not list Big Dog BBQ, this excellent bar/BBQ joint inside the bowling alley separately? Answer. Because it's really GOOD and really small and someone on the TripAdvisor staff wants to make sure that only a few people know about it so that there's always ribs for them. The gig's up... More

We had so much fun on a rainy day! This was old school bowling alley where you had to note your score on paper :) Very friendly service. We have stayed till 4pm and had "dinner" in the little restaurant located by the bar (the same building). OMG! This was the best meal we had in Cape since we came... More

The Orleans Bowling Center has added Big Dog BBQ, a great bar and cafe with traditional Texas BBQ. A warm and friendly staff, creative drinks, 16 tap beers and a well selected wine list all complement the perfection already coming out of the kitchen. With Chef Diane Lipinski at the helm and oak in the smoker, the flavors are so... More

Candlepin bowling. Go try it. Fun for the kids. Not expensive. Safe surroundings and then check out the rest of what Orleans have to offer.

I've only ever done candlepin bowling, so this is just fine with me. It's definitely a no-frills kind of place, but gives terrific value for the money and let's face it—it's just a lot of fun! You can get the bumpers on your lane if you're here with kids (or just want to hike your own scores a bit). I'm... More

No frills no fuss BUT prices are very reasonable. Can take the entire family and not spend your mortgage doing it!

Wonderful retro ambience, and the unique experience of rolling 3 grapefruit-sized balls per frame down the lane in the quixotic pursuit of a perfect game... and a score of 500! And, yes, it is possible to not roll a gutter ball, yet miss all the pins. Enjoy!
