We went on the Bell's Neck Conservation Area tour (departing from Herring River Landing) on August 17. JP was a fun and knowledgeable guide. I learned a lot about Bell's Neck and the wildlife in the area (including seeing some pretty scary jellyfish!) The pace of the kayaking was good, not so quick that I felt rushed, but not so... More

My brothers and I paddled Nauset marsh with Jonathan in early September. The kayaking itself is a lot of fun, but the real treat is being able to ask questions of a knowledgeable tour guide. He fielded our questions on the wildlife we saw, the marsh ecosystem and even questions we had about the Cape in general. He also instructed... More

I couldn't think of a better way to spend the afternoon with my sister. We both had such a great experience kayaking with Jonathan. We kayaked Nauset Marsh and he showed us how to clam in the mud flat with our feet. He is very knowledgeable about the ecology and geology which I hope to bring my boys back next... More

The owner of cape kayaking accommodated our group of 4 adults and 3 kids at a special unscheduled time. It was a fantastic experience, a highlight of our vacation. He showed all the kids how to search for clams with your toes when we took a break from paddling and when they got restless on the second half of the... More

My wife found Cape Kayaking online and rolled the dice on an unknown commodity. There were other kayaking services along Cape Cod, some even cheaper, but none that promised the level of interaction during the outing that Caspe Kayaking did. Not only did we NOT regret the decision, our afternoon with Jonathan (owner and operator) was the BEST part of... More

My wife and toured Nauset Marsh with Jonation in July 2013. A great excursion. Not too difficult at all because he timed the trip so the tides did aot of the world. Saw seals and sea birds and got loads of human and natural history while paddling. Highly recommend it as an antidote to T-shirt shops and over priced lobster... More

If you really want to experience the factors that help create the unique features of Cape Cod this is for you. Our guide, and owner of the Cape Kayaking company, Jonathan, did a great job being naturalist, guide, safety instructor and trouble shooter for our 3 hour trip into Nauset Marsh. This is a surprisingly complex and hard kayak experience.... More

I have taken many trips with Cape Kayaking and all have been great and had a different flavor. I have been out in I think all their tour areas: Nauset, Pleasant Bay, Herring River, and Grays Beach. I have to say I love Pleasant Bay the most as it is very quite. Although every time I see seals I am... More
