visit on a sunday evening at sunset during the summer, and for a small fee, climb to the top for a great sunset view of Vineyard Haven harbor and East Chop.

We walked out to the East Chop Light from Oak Bluffs. It was not a short walk, but it was worth it. The late afternoon light on the lighthouse was very pretty. Continue another few minutes down the road and sneak onto the beach: there's an amazing view of the sun setting over West Chop.
