Dinner at Lola's was divine! The oysters at dinner service were pristine and yummy. Every dish we got was great! There were no complaints, and the service was wonderful. The surroundings are serene and peaceful. Only one downer, we came for the buck a shuck during happy hour a day later and the job they did on shucking was terrible... More

Great location, easy parking, welcomes groups, receiving a very personal attention, and close details to your culinary tastes!! Old time favorites, Cajun, New Orleans cooking, elevated to New World tastes...fine wine selection, reasonably priced..more so for the Vineyard! a Must!!!!!

It is not easy to find a restaurant in the truism area with high food quality. Lola's restaurant provides amazing food. I had a Pan Roasted Wild Salmon , my friend had Mussel's ala Lola both were excellent and my daughter had New England Clam Chowder. She said "mom this the best food a have ever had" ...I AGREED !... We were traveling with a group of friends this past summer a total of 4 adults and 4 kids ages 2 through 6. We decided to try Lolas on a whim mostly because of the buck a chuck oyster sign. What an awesome surprise this place was! We had cocktails and oysters on the lawn and the kids could run... More

We had been here last year, when it was called Hooked. The service then was awful and the food just so-so. The former owners of Lola's came back and opened it again with a southern flair. Much more relaxed, and the 4-6 pm Buck A Shuck is still on! We had a wonderful waiter, who actually came back to ask... More

Try the buck a shuck (oyster or clams) during the happy hour. The oysters are fresh from local oyster farms. The food at the bar or restaurant is delicious and very generous. The shrimp mac and cheese on the bar menu is a must try. It is really tasty with broccoli and bacon added in. Excellent. The mussels were almost... More

I went here recently on a double date with some friends. We had the fried green tomato nachos which were not nachos at all but still delicious. We all ordered off of the special menu. I had a crispy duck with asparagus and their famous garlic mashed potatoes. Portions were huge and everything was so good. I also loved the... More

We came here not knowing what to expect after eating in a restaurant in Menemsha that was had a local chef that was full of himself that he serves entrees on bread plates. This place has a great staff (Alexandra) and great food. We ate the ceased salad that was probably the best on the island (yep even better than... More

They have returned! After some years away, the proprietors have come back and started right where they left off: lots of great, traditional-yet-imaginative food with friendly service. You cannot go wrong here except by thinking that you can eat more than they can feed you. The appetizers would serve as meals--I could barely get to the second of the three... More
